So how long did you eave the battery to rest before showing us the test at 12.58 V. Most batteries I've seen will retain a high charge for a bit but then drop back over the next ten minutes to an hour. It is the drop back voltage that is important for a battery to be useful.
This will actually depend on the initial battery state. No, it will not stop charging. This is why he put a timer. After some tests with different batteries someone can potentially estimate the required current and time but because the things are what they are, this will always be a guess.
Excellent Project keep it up, i need to know few things please help and support me and also these questions will help many 1. These capacitors are Start or Running Capacitors ? 2. How many ampere we should get from 20uF, 60uF, 80uF, 100uF, 150uf Capacitors on 220v and 110v home electricity supply ? 3. which uF capacitor should i use for 5AH to 40Ah, 45AH to 100Ah and 100AH to 250AH Batteries on 220v ? 4. which Rectifier Diode (KBPC 3510 or 5010 ) should i use for 5AH to 40Ah, 45AH to 100Ah and 100AH to 250AH Batteries on 220v? 5. in many other channels related to this disulfate with capacitor topics comments said the capacitor amp on 110v will be double on 220v ( like 110v 20uF capacitor give .66 amp and the same capacitor will give 1.2 amp on 220v ) but in comments i found the same person recommend the same capacitor for both 110v and 220v for please clear the confusion ? 6. as i have learned first disulfate when volts reach around 16v or 17v , then wait for 2 hours for check resting voltage, the discharge with 100watts bulb till battery reaches 11v then continue same process 3 times , master is that correct or if there is some time gaps in between this process that i forgot please let me know ? 7. somewhere else channel i have seen comments " you should use 5% amp capacitor of battery total capacity but at the some comment same person recommend lower then 5% amp capacitors for batteries please clear the confusion ? Pleas make it possible to reply in details I hope you will reply as soon as possible Thank you in Advance
