Like where I live in TX your water is not very cold in the summer. If your used a recirculating system from around 8-10 ft deep in the ground, as well as put the radiator in a closed box not exposed to the outside heat it would reduce the temperature a great deal.
Nice bronco I’ve got a 1970 bronco that I’ve had for 30 years, I’m fixing mine up to, I’ve got about five things left to install on mine then I’ll be driving it
My car is running pretty lean, and heavy on the pedal in 3rd gear can hear pinging and I see no smoke as well. Also down on power too. Hopefully, a simple Narrowband 02 sensor will help.
A nice wide width which is handy for fitting in bigger stuff but the price you pay is deflection, but if you just make another base frame the same and sit it on top that's that problem solved
nice stuff i did some oline collage studying on AC and hers a thought look for and adjustable TXV valve and i say the math on free-on needed via online chats then you could fill to said amount and play with the txv screw
i am build a 460 for 1977 f350 i liked your porting video i got to get same heads as i have a 1969 engine and compression will be to high according to my thinking and the Mad porter i bought his stuff yet to look at it butt will be porting the snot out of it .but i bought a fi-tech on ebay no hand-held tuner i rather tune with a pc Question is did you hook it to a pc /laptop or just handheld thing .worst case ill gut the bs ecu and run a megasquirt /microsquirt ecu might as well do that if i want a turbo just for sillyness [fun] because the unit i got will not allow turboing now i remember [wile typing] so i was told anyhow .Do you like the Fi-tech still ? i read mixed crap them .i got it crap so it will be great etherway .thanks for radiator tips
I appreciate the comments! Just for anyone following up, I’ve run this for 6 years now, with no pinging, or any issues! So far so good. Definitely an improvement over stock from what the seat of my pants can tell.
Very nice job. It's been almost 5 years so how was the performance? I noticed a few critical errors I'll point out. To press 50 ton the 6" channel should of been 8" with a max span of 34" inches between the supporting rounds. For 50 ton the uprights should be 5/8" x 4". The top support is overkill and doesn't need to be any bigger than the table size.
