I'm a French Guy comming from Normandy so that's quite fun for me, especially considering how the "Duché de Normandie" is usually left behind on most videogames despite it's importance
Great lineage there, sir. Your forefathers were the fearsome northmen Norsemen normans. They became Christians and were given land by the king of France after they beat him up a bit lol. 👍👍👍
when you say TW, are you meaning Total War? If so, do you have any recommendations for 4X/Grand Strategy games more like Total War than EU? I looove the Total War games, but EU4 was a little much for me
@@fozzythasalesman6125 Unfortunately, there are more such games for scifi and fantasy settings, but I assume you have also tried the Civilization series?
@@randomaccessfemale Yes, I'm aware of the Civilization series. I'm a little turned off by the fact that the "win condition" is an arbitrary point value, but I am planning on checking it out in detail at some point once I get a new computer. I bought Civ 6 for my PS4, but I realized I shouldn't have bothered because these kinds of games are really best played on PC imo so I figured I'd just wait til then.
Hey Splatty, 1) Dissolving the troops in this game sends them to the reserves. 2) Thank you for showing this game off it really is a fun game. 3) Love the humility brother but as a fan of yours for years it is definitely well within your abilities to make this game your bitch if you wanted to. Keep up the great vids fam here and on twitch.
Any chance we could convince u to try and get a beta key to play Realms Beyond? The game looks absolutely incredible and it would be sweet to see on your channel. Also thanks to you and your channel. We love your spotlighting of underrepresented games. Appreciate your work. I check in every day. Take care and stay safe!
Great game! Found it on sale today in Steam. Too bad it appears dead as far support from the devs or publisher is concerned. Has excellent potential but the dev team was probably a one hit wonder... Would love to see it expanded!
That book amtching game reminds me of a old game called "Columns". Segas equivalent to Tetris, the mechanic is nowadays associated with "Bejeweled" or something like that.
pausing to comment just as the concept has been explained. Sounds perfect to me. Grand strategy intrigues me, but I really don't have the time, patience, or ability to learn them.
That cringe when he realized William the conqueror is the historical rival of England >.> That aside, this style of cartoony, marshmellowy soldiers with goofy minigames to determine development doesn't really seem to mesh with historical grand strategy. I think they would have been better off creating a completely fictional setting to play in. Then you can put in historical figures and give the option to play on historical maps.
Wow, this game does not seem to care about geography or historical accuracy. I understand keeping it light and fun, but this appears distractingly confusing to me, to the point I wonder why they didn't simply make it all fictional.
