This is awesome. Thanks guys for the tips. This offseason I will have to use some of these ideas in my basketball workout plan. This goes into the favorites section. Thanks again.
I tried the Bosu to Bosu yesterday, without the squat, but it was still an amazing workout. Fun, almost maxed out my heart rate, and was a great metabolic conditioning exercise. Can't wait to try it tomorrow, this time with the squat!
This is SO helpful! I coach gymnastics and this will help so much with stamina, coordination, strength.. and it's something new and fun for them to do. Some of these things, I've never seen. I have one of those ladder things and couldn't think of how to use it - you guys are great, THANK YOU. Whoever says this is useless is obviously an idiot.
Thanks for sharing guys. I've been a personal trainer for over 20 years & am always looking for new stuff, etc... I've recently been approached to do a BOOT CAMP program & thanks to you guys, I'll have more ammunition do dish out the punishment... Nice work!!!
WOW!! The video is only 10 minutes and yet the workout seems so intense! I can almost imagine myself tiring out and crying for air. Really tough and awesome workout. Great pace!!
Excellent workout and I 'liked" it, but the only plyos are the five seconds when you're jumping between the bosu balls (and still the amortization phase might be a bit slow on that), and I don't see the intervals, but definitely high intensity and definitely quick feet drills. Off the charts fitness, you guys are great.
best kind of training ever ;) good for almost anything. explosiveness, endurance, muscle building, and at the same time even stretchening muscles (which can also be the bad thing, cause you can injure your muscle with all the stretching and contracting in once, if making mistakes and not being used to it). but if you start with it carefully and build intensity continiously, its the best thing ever. pretty good compilation of what you can do.
I coach fencing, which values explosive leg speed. We do drills similar to these, except instead of steps, we hop over lines of masks (which we don't land on, obviously), and for floor lines, we put down weapons. Good ideas here for new drills; thanks for uploading! :-)
@redzonegayiam Tight hip flexors are easily balanced by a strong ab/core, which is also being worked on in this video. By keeping the core strong enough to counteract the extra pull generated by the hip flexors, you can reduce or stop pelvic tilt. which is the actual reason your glutes can be hampered. and STRETCH
this is a SERIOUS routine. way better than squats and power cleans because of the cardio and agility work. our SAQ coach ran us through a lot of this, it works
@SpaceWineTV If you live near an elementary school, You can do every single foot speed drill in this video. using Hop Skotch, and Kings Court. you can do alot of plyo at an elementary play ground depending what they have. As for the box jumps, you just have to find something thats like it.
