for sure. most people seem to think that just cause a person can move his feet fast, their body is actually moving fast. this guy takes very few steps because he develops a whole lot of power.
Reps and sets are sport specific. Calculate how much you play and how much you rest during sport and use that information for rest interval and how much to spend time on agility drills. Do series of sets or just sets depending on the sport.

Poor coaching. He is sprinting wrong, causing wear and tear on the knees. Any good coach would put a stop to it and it would improve the athlete's speed.
