Pocket Pie Molds 

Thank you for posting this! I have a star shaped one and I never knew how to use it, so it's just been collecting dust. Now that I've seen this, I can use it! Can't wait to try it!

The recipe we used can be found on our website. I've added a link to it in the video description for the full recipe. After they are assembled and spend 30 minutes in the freezer, they bake at 400 degrees F for about 22 to 24 minutes.

I asked for some for my birthday. My daughter gave me some. I cannot wait to try them!

What temperature do you bake them at? And for how long?

Hey Williams Sonoma: I ran into an odd issue when making my pocket pies, I cut them out with no issues but when I went to put them in the mold and fill them the pie crust itself shrunk so it was able to pinch the edges. I used vodka in my dough since I heard it makes the pie crust flaky, do you think the vodka cause my dough to shrink? The pies were still a success but I had to manually seal each side with a fork instead of just pressing down the mold, please let me know so I get them perfect next time!

I can't find instructions anywhere about freezing them and then what time/temp to bake from frozen

did you precook your filling? it looks as if it's already 'set'. my fillings are looser. do I have to do something first?

So..how do you stop the pastry sticking in the molds? I got to the joined part but the pastry just stuck in the mold
