Literally same BUT I don't think that's a bad thing, because that gives you an opportunity to focus on animation itself without pesky details like "how the hell do I draw the hair in a different perspective"
The famous bloom effect is a post procesing effect that emulates diffuse light (that's why it's also called diffuse). It softenes the image and usually adds a litte bit of glow (it's also used in video games, film and cgi). It will probably be kept as an industry secret, but there is a way to achieve something very close to it. You can do it in any software that has layers, blending modes and blur. Here is an example I did with and without bloom: imgur.com/a/6hpF9 Simply dublicate your work, blur it by 10-15px (depends on your resolution) set the layer blend mode to "lighten" and reduce it's opacity to 30-40% That's it. There a many other ways of course. That's the most simple one :^)
I see! I never knew that's what that effect was called but i always wondered. Your information was very helpful, thank you for sharing that! Also, very nice work! :)
This animation is short, but it shows me three things. 1. How creating animations looks like. 2. That you have talent for it. 3. This animation make me cry. ; )
Art isnt talent, its just time to practice and draw better. I think you meant time cause it takes a lot of time to do it, and when I say a lot I mean A LOT
How were you able to apply the glow in the final composition? I'm trying to find a filter that allows it in After Effects to make the lines look less harsh. This looks lovely btw!
Am I the only one that gets sorta annoyed by the comments that always come under any type of drawing vids? Eg. Her sketch looks like my finished product, I can't even draw a stick man etc
@@willy3willy858 lol. Anime is not impossible to draw. Just practice 3 years, and you drawing skill will be at godmod. Im already practice it for 2 years, now stop judging people and go to your desk and start practice for your own furture.
Definitely not that long. A month at most. Nothing that intense is actually going on. It’s still extremely impressive through and actually looks like an anime.
@@apricotmadness4850 Yeah, this is hard af to make, but some dudes still think that animate like at this level takes decades and the animation process takes like a year...
@@GoldenFreddy-py7kz It really depends, I don't think that it's possible for a dedicated person to make a KyotoAnimation like sequence of 1 minute in just one month. I'm talking about intense animations, just some character turning around in one second with her hair floating needs around 20 clean pictures drawn, you can't just draw 3 keyframes and put some photoshopped inbetweens between them lol
On which program do you animate and which color and shade and which Backgrounds and which composite haha :D This looks amazing !!! Any tutorials on the bloom like at : 0:44
***** Thanks any tips how to move the camera as good as you do? I have no idea and tutorials here isn't for animation... Also can you make fully how you animate just like how you paint? Thanks :D
You know I just draw straight away, I do each scene frame by frame and never made a story board so seeing this... I think how your animations how you lay it out really inspires me and I think I’ll do what you do
this was 7 years ago. i feel so old. i watched this a month or two after it was posted cus it was in my recommendations. still holds up so well. absolutely love it.
THIS IS SO AMAZING HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO DO THIS ALONE IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME IT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE A LEGIT ANIME INTRO IM GONNA CRH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
i hope some tutorial comes out sooon!!! i am so inspired by this producer and now ive been trying to animate the best i can. his coloring tutorial was amazing and informal so i hope one on making animations comes out soon!!
