Came for Jenna, stayed for Julien. We fell in love with him just like Jenna did over the years. I'm so glad Jenna is taking time for herself. She hasn't in years and deserves it. All about JulienCast!!!

I think you should do a "Dear Julien" column, like the ones they used to have in news papers, where people send in their problems like "My wife thinks I'm addicted to my cell phone but I think she's wrong *general overview*, what do you think?" And they use nicknames in place of their names and you just give your thoughts on what they sent. I'd totally watch that!

The Aries Podcast. It's like 8 to 70 minutes and ends whenever Julien decides he's done talking.

I will forever be here for a Julien cast. I really appreciate the transparency that we've been getting from him. Jenna has been doing this for over a decade and it's completely understand that she needs to take a step back from the internet. Keep up the Julien cast!

I'm so incredibly appreciative of the Julien content, I'm just worried he's going to get burned out trying to maintain everything by himself. And I don't want Jenna to feel like she has to come back to support him (which probably isn't a concern because I'm sure Julien reassures her anytime it comes up). I want Julien to feel like its going to be OK if he needs to also step away from the Podcast for a while, or even just do it less frequently. Take care of yourself too, Julien 🥺 We'll love y'all no matter what.

i’m not sure how to make it clear that i am SO appreciative of julien’s dedication to continuing putting out content despite everything. i’m sure a lot of the “where’s jenna” comments get disheartening, and i imagine he feels like a lot of weight is on his shoulders. to julien: you are doing amazing, and i hope this doesn’t keep you from taking care of yourself and taking the time off you need as well. the dink fam will always be here!!

Sure, Jenna introduced me to Julien's content, like many of us. However, we stayed because Julien is equally an amazing creator. I'm here for the SOLOmita content!

This was never just the Jenna podcast, this was the JennaJulien podcast and now it's just Julien. While I do adore her, I personally never come here JUST for Jenna. Julien isn't doing this for his health, he's doing this because he knows we're already bummed out about losing Jenna and he wanted to soften the blow and honestly, that was very thoughtful of him. He's here for us and deserves so much appreciation for carrying three channels while dealing with people constantly asking him about something that makes him uncomfortable because he doesn't know the answers. Did we really expect Jenna to stay around forever? It sucks, she's been around for so long that we're kind of mourning a loss at the moment but please leave Julien alone. He's not gonna tell Jenna what we're saying, it's not going to make her come back sooner, he doesn't know when or if she's coming back...no one does...I don't even think Jenna does and all of this is probably making her not want to come back even more tbh.

Honestly Julien is very talented to be able to record podcasts on his own with no cuts. It would be hard to entertain people on your own for up to an hour with no script

Just a lil Julien appreciation post- No matter what form his Aries takes, I laugh at 99% of the things he says and does. I swear Julien is one of the best role models out there, he faces tough times and can be serious when he needs to, but somehow even through the hardships he faces, he continues to have that contagious smile and a good sense of humor. Julien, you are so fun and talented, and we love you so much

Julien is literally the best person to have since we're without Jenna. You can really see how honest and caring his character is, and I'm so glad you're carrying this on, Julien. I'm so thankful for you. As much as I miss Jenna, I'm so appreciative that we still have you making the content we're used to. You're doing a really great job :)

Man, I feel so selfish for missing Jenna, but it really breaks my heart to know that she's not coming back. It feels like I lost a friend because she was always the one person who could always make me feel like everything was going to be ok. I think it's extra hard because it was really sudden. That said, I want Jenna to have everything she needs in her life, and of that's to be offline, she deserves it. Anyway, I feel so grateful for the fact that you are still here Julien. I know it's not easy. Your efforts are very much appreciated both here and on your channel. (loved the beautiful cooking pad Thai in the dark vid!) You're a shiny light in the mess that is the world right now Juleeen. 💕

I knew Jenna would quit RU-vid eventually but I never imagined it happening the way it did. I always pictured there being a gradual lead up to her retirement and ending it on a positive note with closure. The fact that her last video was her crying and being upset after entertaining everyone for years is so unfortunate. I hope all is well.

Dear Julien, I have been watching this podcast since day one. I must say that I very much prefer this type of content than any other, because I get to know you and Jenna on a different level. I feel like we are friends who just sit by the table once a week and talk about everything and nothing. Sometimes the topic is light hearted and funny and sometimes serious and important. But I always look forward to these videos, every Monday (I'm watching them in Poland). I remember listening to JJ Podcast back when I was in University over and over again, when I was studying for my exams and doing projects. I still do it to this day actually. I am a very anxious person, so listening to you talk always calmed my nerves and helped me focus. I could probably quote most of the jokes that were made here and I think many dink fam members can relate. I just wanted to tell you that as much as I miss Jenna online, I love to hang out with you alone just as much. You have always made me laugh and wish I could have a friend like you in real life. Due to what's happening in my country right now I feel really down and anxious lately, but knowing that I'm not alone in this and everyone is going through something is giving me hope. Please never forget that you are an important part of this podcast, you're doing an amazing job alone (sorry Squirp). If I could suggest some topics for upcoming podcasts, maybe you could tell us more about you and your life/stories/opinions on things? Just a Juliencast about whatever you want to tell us about you. I finally finished all the podcast episodes within a year, I would watch one everyday to lift my spirits and feel like I’m apart of Jenna’s and Juliens life. Here’s to 2023 and happy memories. I'm not going to lie, deep down I knew that Jenna wouldn't be back anytime soon but hearing him say it made me actually physically cry. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say We miss her so much and we really just hope she's doing okay. I know she's had a lot going on for a long time and I really hope she's taking care of herself and finding herrself again. I know she won't read this, but I just hope she knows that we love her and we want the best for her. Even if that means not seeing her for a long time or maybe ever. Just know we cherish the good times. I regret taking seeing her online 2-3 times a week for granted for so long.

We really appreciate you julien. The internet is grieving, and it's a process. Jenna made a HUGE impact in some of our lives. She feels like a best friend in my eyes. It's really hard losing a friend. But respectful people will remain respectful, and try to honor her in any way they can. Just be patient with us julien, you're just lucky you get to walk down stairs to see your best friend again, but we can't..

For the girl with the kitchen cabinets. Just get new curtains or a table and then say that the cabinets no longer match and you need to repaint or refinish them

Jenna deciding not to come back makes me feel like my best friend of a decade just decided to quit speaking to me. I’m really sad... I hope she is happier. I feel like my comment is so unproductive but it’s very difficult to know how to express what you feel when you’re sad about something like this.

Man this has to be so tough on julien. Can’t imagine your life partner being your business partner (especially in such a visible industry) and then quitting/taking sabbatical from the business. He’s a good sport, but this has to be so difficult and heavy to deal with.

I knew everyone is posting about how they miss Jenna, and I did too, but I was under the impression that everyone was being supportive of her break and of Julien's effort to take on the full responsibility of the podcast. It must be really hard for him to move from the dynamic dialogue form of the podcast he's used to doing to this very different solo format and making it work. It makes me sad he has to go through this and then not feel supported.

I have genuinely loved the podcasts lately, Julien! I listen to a lot of podcasts where it is just one person talking the entire time, or occasionally bringing in guests, so this format is great. LOVED Dink Tank, the tattoo reviews and the reading your secrets pods, and would be happy to see more content even if it's just you talking about a topic you found interesting for 45 mins (or even longer) 😊 I genuinely hope Jenna is happy with her new path and that there is lots of doggo time and happiness in her future ❤️ Loving the podcast just as much, Julien!

Jenna needs to have her break, if she doesn’t come back. We have to respect her decisions. She’s a grown women. She took accountability when nobody else would and asked. You've both been transparent about the need for her to have space, and you shouldn't need to keep addressing it as you're working on the daunting task of redeveloping your work life...especially as you're still working to provide regular content! We know you'll share updates on all fronts as you have them and that's all anybody can ask for. You've covered the bases, we're full steam ahead on the Aries train - whatever it ends up looking like. I don't typically write comments because I don't want to get involved in any drama, but I just feel like I NEED to say this. So please no hate anyone! Julien has done such an amazing job carrying this podcast on his own shoulders, as well as all the other fears and craziness in the world that we are ALL dealing with. I can't imagine the stress this is creating for both him and Jenna. I am so thankful that he has continued creating these podcast episodes and regardless of what happens in the future with this channel I will continue to follow him. If anything, this makes me respect and love him even more! TLDR: Thank you for Julien for dealing with the stress of the world along with creating content to help us smile every week. I will never unfollow you regardless of your RU-vid future!

The way you explained watching something on repeat is how I feel about Jenna's videos... I play them in the background all the time cos it sounds like home. She has been such a gift to the universe.

this podcast has carried me through sooo many hours of sleepless nights, playing video games, studying, doing chores, etc. and still does and I'm so so appreciative of Julien carrying this on on his own like this, and I really don't feel like the quality suffered, it's just different as a solo podcast.
