Man City fan here but even I remember the summer of 2016, this guy was all around the news papers, 89mil £ - 105mil€, world record fee, I expected him to rip the league to pieces from midfield, sad to see how things are going. He might have a bad attitude now and then but I’m sure he’s a nice lad and imo, in terms of skill, this guy is one of the most skilled midfielders in the world, definitely top 10 for me. But as much as I like him and as much as I think Mourinho was right in some way, I’m sorry but all in all this guy is at the end of the day a complete waste of money.

Almost everything Mourinho says and does in a particular moment ages like wine a few years later. From saying Barca were Messi dependant to his stance on some players at United, to how getting 2nd was one of his best achievements relative to where United ended up afterwards and the hot water city are in today. Absolutely brilliant manager. As a united fan, I followed this manager to every club he went to after us. Has always been a pleasure to tune into on the side.
