One of my favorite places to crawl in Michigan was a abandoned mini golf course! Then they tore it down do I had to move back to Colorado! Lol

I am a Futaba Factory Team driver so I will be using a Futaba servo when I replace it. I have used the Savox servos before but they are so noisy! If I wasn't going to use Futaba I would likely go with Hitec instead.

You could have done the servo bearing mod, where you take a traxxas servo rebuild kit and replace the stock plastic bushings by the included bearings in the kit. The kit itself is 4$, so it's a very affordable mod.

How long have you been using those axial hex drivers,have they held up well?

ok so we both know these are servo eaters with the titanium links! What servo do you have in mind.... You say budget cant get more rad than the savox 1230 500oz at 6v for less than 80.00 you have to put one in bro!

I recommend a minimum of 300 oz-in in a Wraith. I will be using the Futaba S9157 which has 420 oz-in. I normally run the BLS157 which is about 520 oz-in. I have been a Futaba Factory Team Driver since 2008 and only use their servos. If I was going to use anything other than Futaba it would be the Hitec's.

That is definitely an option, and if the servo is still alive at the end of this week than maybe I'll do it. However I am ready for a servo with some real power. I will be installing a servo with a little over 400 oz-in when the time comes.

I have had those since roughly 2008. My 2.0 is starting to get worn out and I broke my 1.5 awhile ago. Overall they have been great tools.

I also run a 7955 and the old 5955 love them both! Isnt the savox so laud due to the processor?

When you trash the servo, I would recommend Spektrum's S6030. It has 278 inch-oz. of torque and only costs about $85.

I destroy the servo the first time i ran my Wraith Spawn today haha. One bad landing and it was done .

what I had to do was loosen up the steering linkages theyre tight for the box loosen them because when theyre tight it makes the servo work way to hard then it has to

NOW, SOMEBODY IS MAKING A BEARING TO REPLACE THE STOCK BUSHING. My steering servo didn't go long before getting a lot of play. I took it apart and found a bushing just inside the case where the splined shaft comes out. It was worn and that was the only problem. My friend made me another at work that was too tight and burned out the servo. I wish I would have known because I like the stock servo as far as power and speed.
