Week 2 of the budget build. The upgrade for the week is to replace the stock front dog bones with some Axial Universal shafts. The free mod for the week is to relocate the existing battery tray up front. Axial Universals - AXI30780
Imagine what the stock dog bones are doing to the servo when spinning at full turn. You can see it mine move the front wheels back and fourth as if you were steering slightly and I know that servo is hard to turn against it's will. Looks like an old 4wd truck with bad u-joints in the front axels trying to turn steep in 4wd.
A Wraith in stock form? The servo is what I would worry about. I have ran them in water right out of the box before but I'm not sure on the longevity in water.
I will try and add the numbers to the descriptions. Most of this info is available in my build thread on RCCrawler in the Wraith section if you would like to follow along there. I give quite a bit more info and such in there as well.
