Her red would be most likely Metagross for Pikachu, everything else is Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Giratina-O, Arceus-Flying.

And one thing I really like about Cradily/Lileep's design is how Lileep is purple while Cradily is green, just like how early plant life on Earth was purple, but then turned green when chlorophyll turned out to work better than whatever the plants used before.

It's also strongly designed after a still living animal (kinda) called a Crinoid. Basically they're brittle stars that grow like sea-fans.

Since I played both Red & Blue as a kid, I absolutely recognized the reference, and it certainly got a chuckle out of me. Great bit of humor there. :)

Ikr. When I was going through my Alpha Sapphire Nuzlocke, I originally wanted the Claw Fossil but at the same time thought that was unfair and that I had to flip a coin, but then worried if I would be in trouble by having Lileep instead of Anorith. This lead me to do a little bit of research on Lileep and Cradily and compare their stats, movesets and type matchups to Anorith and Armaldo. And suddenly, I started to grow more interested in the Grass fossil than the Bug one. In the end, I decided not to flip a coin at all, and instead I just chose the Root Fossil. Best choice I could ever have made. Lileep is so much easier to keep alive and on the team than Anorith until it evolves. I even used Lileep in the Flying Gym and it was no trouble for it, even though it was unevolved. And turning into Cradily just made it more powerful! So bulky, hits surprisingly hard and has some good special moves to go with its good special attack stat, and learns Energy Ball by level up which is not something a lot of Grass types do. I don't really plan to specifically use it in the League, but I'm bringing it along anyway just in case something happens to my Blaziken, Manectric, Walrein, Ninjask or Sableye, all of which I have plans for in the League. I replaced my dead Gardevoir with Sableye after she got killed by a Trainer's Darmanitan in Victory Road. Sableye was my best bet for a replacement, even though he's got Stall for an ability. So I just maxed out his Defense and Special Defense, putting the rest into HP so he's a tank rather than a hard hitter, since he's always gonna go last. I also love Ninjask and actually pretty much solo'ed the rest of my first Alpha Sapphire run with one after getting it and even boxed my other starter Blaziken. In this Nuzlocke, I solo'ed Norman with my Ninjask and even had it tank two of his strong Slaking's Chip Aways (healing in-between) as I had run out of Digs by then. And I used my Shedinja to catch Kyogre easily.

Joking aside, yeah I feel that I had my Flood aka the Peras for one of my first encounters! Which later evolved and had her to put mons to sleep with the OP move Spore * I was playing Yellow and since it was Gen 1 sleep was even more broken lol, exstream randomizer * Then The Flood got critical hit by a Persion Slash in the 8 Gym... It was so ruff... The Flood helped me so much in putting mons to sleep, helped in a lot of tuff battles got me thourgh so so much and then died when I was heading to Victory Road, to the Elite 4 and face off with the champion... It was soul crushing but I pushed on word for The Floods sake! QwQ

this makes me not wanna do a nuzlocke, i fear that i will end up crying at the first gym

And honestly, without them, she wouldn't be able to get stuff out anywhere near as frequently as she does, as it would take so much longer if she had to do all of that by herself.

Yes agreed! So many will gloss over or just not react to the small (usually funny) details she adds in her animation choices and it will drive me crazy! But Moxie always catches them and reacts or compliments the way Jaiden chose to portray what just happened

That's the beauty of being an artist! You notice a lot more things! I'm also an artist, but... I also have ADHD and easily overlook things. ^^;

well, pchal focuses more on the technical side of the nuzlocke, being a professional nuzlocker himself. whereas moxie, being an artist, would obviously place richer input on the animation. that’s why it’s fun to watch different reaction videos! each one will have their own niche :)

@@tofu7975 that's true and all, but PChal is pretty entertaining with his reactions to things. I didn't watch the other video by choice. After I got done watching this video, I let it auto play the next suggested video. There is only a few channels I make sure to like every video and also make random comments on the videos just for the algorithm. 🤣 But I do get he is focused on other portions of the video, like the whole reason he makes the videos.
