There’s also a Cracked Pot on the rooftop in Stow-On-Side! Just head up the ladder nearest to the stairs that lead to the gym! Hope it helps if you don’t wanna wait for the vendor!
@@seana.8256 vendor never has one available, been playing since launch, and tomorrow's isn't chipped pot either. why are we, with the rare authentic sinisteas, punished so?
The Pokedex entry for Sirfetch'd says that only the toughest, most battle-scarred Farfetch'd achieve the evolution, but honestly I think that just proves your point even more. The Sirfetch'd only *believes* he's hardcore and battle-scarred, due to just being so awesome at landing crits. I mean, look at his smug face. He's definitely that one cowardly general in war who overstates all his achievements and claims he deserved a purple heart for getting a splinter in the trenches.
I named mine Dio Brando and he has a ribbon for being so arrogant. It gives him the title “Dio Brando the Arrogant” so this couldn’t be any better if I tried
@@sethjudice3208 This. This is the weirdest one. Who would think to play their game upside down while leveling up in order to evolve a pokemon? Could you imagine how rare its evolution would be BEFORE the internet? Next to no one would have it.
To easily evolve a Farfetch'd after you've completed the game, throw one in the daycare with a ditto so you get a level 1 Farfetch'd. Then give it a leek and run into a level 60 Metapod because all they do is use harden and you can easily get your crits in 1 go.
Yeah for me here was my strategy: Lvl up farfetched to where he learns leaf blade(lvl 42 or use tr to teach em), teach him focus energy, give him a big leak which is in your ingredients inventory because it increases chances to get crits, and then fight metapod because it will be lvl 60 if you beat the game and still only uses harden
@@CaptainDCap Dude, it's NOT hard. As soon as I learned that he needed 3 crits in a battle, making that happen was a cake walk. Leek. TR Focus Energy. 3-Pokemon Opponent. Easy.
Honestly... how the hell would one know how to evolve these, I was trying to refrain from using google but wtf... how would I ever figure out some of these on my own???
This is precisely the reason why whenever I caught a new Pokémon for my team, I looked up how to evolve it, and I’m so glad I did because there would have been now way I could’ve figured out how to evolve Galarian Yamask
It's probably to get people talking about the games and then someone might see it and get the game or just to make sure there's communication between players or something similar
I ended running into Axew first on that route so missed out on Yamask entirely. On the other hand I didn't know the breeding centre gave you Toxel, so I'm totally going back and getting one. New area, after all.
Yamask becomes a much bigger pain to evolve in a Nuzlocke run because you have to be so damn careful not to let it die. Thank Arceus for the focus sash.
I love them in theory, but there need to be in-game hints on how to do them. Some of them are ONLY achievable through pure random chance of you doing the exact right combination of things or just looking up the answers online. I wish it was more of a "find some clues in the game and puzzle it out" type thing. Like if you went into a museum and saw a plaque reading that "It is said that some pokemon with strange markings can only evolve when in a weakened state." Then you have to figure out which one that applies to and find some other clue indicating they can only evolve in the presence of matching marks or something and then have some drawn on the rock wall in that spot. That would at least mean you could figure it out if you are reading everything and putting a few clues together. But a lot of these didn't seem to have any in-game explanations at all. It's just "go get frustrated until you cheat and look up the exact answer online."
@@NekoMouser I agree with you there, I haven't been that far into the game yet, so I just assumed, they would give you hints eventually The apple and the teapot ones are pretty self explanatory, but for Yamask, they should give at least a hint
Nature-based evolutions need to burn in the deepest pits of hell, especially since the new item specifically made to change nature doesn’t affect it at all.
Stop telling people changeing your switch time doesnt hurt anything because it does. it locks you out of time based events for 2 days every time you do it.
IMO that's how it should have always been, and the Ice Stone should have been introduced alongside Glaceon. Much more intuitive than having to go to a certain area.
You don’t need to use a poke doll to run away with Galarian Yamask, ghost types can always escape from a wild Pokémon battle regardless of speed Edit: Thanks for clarifying how to evolve Yamask, I just happened to evolve it and was supremely confused as to why
Only a Pokemon with run away can escape battle regardless of speed. Ghost types can still get caught up and be unable to escape, especially if they're slow.
I like how the process of turning Milcery into Alcreamie is basically based both on the industrialized way of turning milk into cream, but also the process of turning cream into whipped cream
First of all I enjoy your content a lot! A few things, Snom actually evolves with high happiness. Happiness and friendship are two different values in the games. Also I’m a little surprised you didn’t go over Glaceon and Leafeon specifically because they changed those to ice stones and leaf stones.
For Sirfetched, there's Swirlix on route 5 that heal themselves, and are of the same level. Also, if your Farfetched faints during battle, you can revive it and all the critical hits before it was knocked out still count.
There’s a ladder on the side of the building behind the guy at the market guy and on top of the ladder is a pokéball and in the pokéball is a craked pot
It's not that people are "allergic" to descriptions, it's that a good chunk of people are watching this on a smartphone, and timestamps within video descriptions don't work in the YT smartphone app
False Swipe is not a critical hit. it is a non-lethal hit. You need a move like Night Slash or a move that says it has an increased chance to critical hit.
@@jasonleejames_official That's the whole thing; Use false swipe so you can crit something several times without killing it. That way you don't have to go risking a KO by an overleveled pokemon or KO'ing the thing you're fighting before you get your 3 crits.
@@knightseason Well, that just made me check... holy crap, they removed false swipe from the list of moves? I feel like the list of moves got hit just as hard as the national dex the more i look into these games.
extra tip on farfetch'd - you can use a TR to teach it focus energy. if you have any sort of crit boosting item on it, focus energy will force critical hits. since it can also learn peck, going up against wild sudowoodo can also work. it's what i did anyways
You can also find a cracked pot in the town behind the two vendors. There is a hidden passage, that leads up the roofs and then there is a pokeball there. Also if you want the tri-mix form of alcreamie, turn in which ever direction for +10 sec at dusk. it worked for me clockwise, but in a forum it was also said, that it worked counter clockwise.
Easiest way to get sir'fetched is by breeding and getting a level one farfetch'd then grab a Pokemon with charm and go to the very beginning of the game then find a Wooloo. get your Pokemon up with charm and then continue to use it until you can't use it anymore then it will do only one damage and then pull out your farfetch'd with a leak and give it a dire hit, the Wooloo will also use growl a bunch of times and just let it so that you eventually only do 1 damage as well. The whole process only takes a few minutes so it's not a big deal and it's a lot easier to do if your late game this way
Or where you caught him, in that same area encounter a wobb and battle him. I crit him 4 times before he died with rock smash and he evolved. Your way is just not easier tbh
For the Galarian Fargetch'd, I didn't have a Leek since I got mine via Surprise Trade(I am playing Shield) but I used a Scope Lens and Focus Energy to boost my crit chance. I forget where to get the Scope Lens, but the Focus Energy TR is found in Motostoke by going to the left side of the alley(the path leading to the gear platform from the Pokémon Center) and speak to the guy next to the record store(you can't access the actual store ever, it is decoration only). He will give you the TR for Focus Energy. There is another record store further down the alley on the right that also has a guy outfront(again, can't actually use the store) who will give you an item that allows you to control the volume of some of the sounds in game(the sounds you can control the volume of are the background music, the sound effects, and Pokémon cries). You access the sliders for these sounds via the options button(they will be at the very bottom).
You can also battle a level 60 metapod (found outside the wild area station) with your galarian farfetch'd if you don't want fetch'd to sustain damage. Teach it leaf blade and focus energy. You can also equip any crit-raitio raising item if your trade partner didnt give you the leek.
For Farfetch'd, in the same area you catch them are Wobbuffet in the grass. You can easily crit one 3 times if you already defeated the trainers nearby.
I caught Grapploct before I even knew clobbopus existed. lol. Grapploct was a real pain. It knocked out almost all of my pokemon before I finally caught it. This was helpful. I haven't tried to evolve any of these pokemon yet and I didn't know where to find sinistea. I still need to catch a morpeko.
For those who get Farfetch’d later in the game, another Pokémon you can easily get three critical hits on is Metapod which is pretty common in the wild area. It doesn’t know any attacking moves so unless you’re out of PP or there’s a weather condition you should be fine.
I'd say it's more like how Eevee evolves into Sylveron, but only at night. Snom needs a high affection stat from the Pokemon Amie equivalent, rather than high friendship, acquired through winning battles and not fainting.
some corrections: BOTH apples can be found in wild areas in BOTH games... theyu are pretty rare, but you can find em near big trees.. sirfect´d can be found in den on shield sometimes, so you can capture it and make an egg
Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this but there are at least 63 Alcremie varieties. There are 7 different sweets you can give them and each of those causes a different sweet in the hair. And there are a lot of spin types to evolve them. Quick clockwise and counter clockwise. Clockwise and counterclockwise for more than 5 seconds. Doing those daytime and nightime. Last combo I've heard about is counterclockwise for over 10 seconds at dusk. Not sure if clockwise would work too because I haven't tried it or seen it.
Another thing you can do for farfetch'd to make it easier is give him the TR for focus energy, which you can get very early on by talking to one guy in Motostoke city. With that plus the leek, I was able to land 3 critical hits in a row.
I don’t know if this has been said yet, but some of these evolutions can be obtained in the wild, but seeing as they’re final evolutions and all that stuff, I’m guessing that you’d have to beat the game to find them in the wild. It makes it a bit easier than trying to evolve them like in this video.
Quick note for anyone wondering when night time is. The game appears to be locked at specific times of day during the main story outside of the Wild Area. Once you get to the post game time moves normally.
In regards to sirfetched if you have the leak and you use the focus energy TR on it you can fight wild wobiffet and just keep hitting it with rock smash if your still relatively low in level. You'll crit every attack and you can wait out it's destiny bond if it uses it.
I think Inkay has the most creative evolution of all time. Yamask/Runerigus’ is very different with the damage requirement but seems like it deserves some lore explaining it. Like the dusty bowl is where eternatus landed and made that arch formation from the devastation..so that’s why it makes runerigus complete its spooky stone tablet... but literally no where in game does it even hint at this
Tbh, I already planned to add Runerigus to the party after noticing how there are a lot of trainers who use Steel type in the game... luckily for me, I only happened to pass by under the rock in Dusty Bowl with my low HP Yamask while trying to find myself a Toxel and it evolved itself for no reason. Which was stupidly awesome considering I didn't know exactly how to evolve it to begin with. Just sharing. LOL!
If you go through Sinistea's animations and find one where you can see under its cup, you can see if it's in a counterfeit cup or a genuine cup by looking for the brand marking on the bottom (which only the genuine cups have)
Another way to do the Farfetchd evolution is to go to galar mine no 2 and fight a shuckle. Similar level and and shuckels defence gives you plenty of chances to get the crits.
FYI cracked pot can be found. Next to the market guy is the stairs that lead up to gym. On the right as you go up the stairs is a ladder, easy to miss. Go up there and you find a cracked pot.
Metalseadraking Definitely is, but not as much as it might seem at first. It’s been confirmed that the shiny doesn’t change with swirling methods, just with the topping. So, only 8 separate shinies, not 63
Another thing to add, time of day outside of the wild area is fixed. If it's day time it'll be day until you advance the story. The way to guarantee night when it is night time and you haven't beaten the game, just go into the wild area.
I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the best way to get a Milcery is to find a dynamax den that has one and catch it there. I've gotten 4 or 5 from them and every time you'll also get a handful of the different sweets, so you can get more sweets quickly, and a stronger pokémon.
Regarding the time-based evolutions: Since most of the areas in Galar have their own time separate from the Switch clock prior to beating the game, you're gonna have to go to the Wild Area which _does_ synchronize. Learned this the hard way when wondering why the hell Iggy the Linoone wasn't evolving when it was 9pm. And no, it's not just you that had a nightmare catching Grappleoct. After it gave me such a headache in Sword, I was dumb enough to try and use it as my Nuzlocke encounter when I was playing through Shield, and Kitara the Toxtricity paid with her life.
What if I told you there is a free evolution item for Sinistea in Stow-on-Side? Have a good look around, because there's a way you can get on top of the buildings there - legit.
For evolving Farfetch’d i simply fought against Metapod. You got all the time you need, you won't get down and since your critical strike chance is pretty good, the fight doesn't even lasts that long.
If your in post game trying to evolve Farfetch just find a level 60 metapod and keep attacking it will work better if your Farfetch is like lvl 20 also give it a dire hit or teach it focus energy to help with the crit .
I think that it actually is possible to find these on your own, (specifically yamask and alcreme) but not if you’re specifically looking for them. As soon as I found that berry I knew it was for alcreme based on visuals alone. If I had a milkrey in my playthrough, I would have put one one it. And If I had had milkrey or yamask on my team, Eventually the coincidences would have collided in the wild area. Or whenever I felt like spinning. Doesn’t mean they’re not impractical
My Farfetch’d evolve in the first battle, after a few minutes after catching a few, when I battled Team Yell. I didn't notice it was holding a Leek, as it kept getting critical hits.
First Sinistea I caught was the special one. In the first instance I tough my game was bugged, as I couldn't evolve it Cracked Pot, later I discovered It could have 2 versions. Also a trick for someone trying to evolve Fartetch'd. Breed it to get the moves Night Slash and Focus Energy (or use the TR in it), equip him with the Leek. Just enter in a fight with a Magikarp 14-, start using Focus Energy and start spawning Night Slash. To me It worked, every move It used was Critical, which Is insane.
I was one of the few that needed a chipped pot for sinistea. Took a long time to get, for sure. I am trying to remember if mine was the first pokemon I caught in the Glimwood Tangle. I have never been so lucky before.
Don’t remember if it was cracked or chipped, but you can find one of those pots behind a building in that same town. You don’t have to buy it from those guys.
love these evolution ideas, but yamask could have just been, finish or run from battle in red heath, maybe have an NPC in route 6 giving hints about weird things happen to Galar Yamask when its weak
Easy way for farfetch'd. Catch it, lead with it and then immediately battle a wobuffet in the same area. If farfetchd knows flail use that. Should only take a couple battles. Wobuffet usually does mirror coat or something equally harmless and counter won't do a lot of damage. If farfetchd health gets low switch t rock smash instead.
Ok czy tylko ja uśmiechnęłam się i powiedziałam "aww" na Appletun'a nazwanego "Jabłka"? po prostu miło widzieć i pozdrawiam każdego gracza Sword & Shield z Polski! :D
If you can't find a leek for a farfetche'd to hold, see if you can get the farfetche'd to learn Focus Energy and finding a consumable item which would increase the critical rate as both increase critical rates
With Sir’fetched you can just buy a dire hit, go into the wild area and battle a wobafet. Wobafet can’t attack you unless you attack him, and sense your so weak his attacks will do nothing. Once you get 3 critical hits (which will be easy with the leak-dire hit combo) just switch out and finish the wobafet!
i think it's easyer to evolve Farfetch'd into Sirfetch'd in the battle cafe. Just use a pokemon with a healing move as support and you don't have to run an search through the wild area
in stow n side, theres a ladder on the left of the building behind the vendor that sometimes offers a cracked pot, climb it and there should be a cracked pot on top of that building
