Apologies for the reupload. Didn't exactly feel right having a bunch of text and stuff that was rather unnecessary for a compilation video, so I removed it and decided to do a reup - for anyone who wants to see the original, I've left the link here: • Pokémon - Syndication ...
Regardless, I wanted to compile the currently known to exist syndicated Pokémon promos together, as they serve as an interesting capsule of the series was first being brought to America, before Kids' WB! took over and whatnot. Stations here are KSMO (The WB), WPMT (FOX), WPXT (FOX), and WKBD (UPN).

That was the fun part of all this Anime being on syndication at the time. Seeing something new and cool and telling your friends about the show and getting them hooked into it. Because that is the fun part of being a kid. Watching something new and secret and the merchandise was MOSTLY Japan exclusive. But then, CN picked it up and saw $$$$$ with this Anime Boom and the rest was history.

That's Eric Stuart as the male announcer; you can hear a bit of Brock in his voice. I definitely remember the first one when Pokémon aired on WSBK-38 Boston (back when it was a UPN affiliate).

Not to mention after a while Looney Tunes began losing syndication at the time…. So this was the end of the era.

I watched Pokemon weekday mornings on my local Fox affiliate, KABB; it ran at 6:30 AM (Central Time Zone) in San Antonio at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

7:00am Weekdays on WABM Channel 68 Birmingham, Alabama's UPN affiliate right place at the right time before heading out the door for School.

Anime during the syndication era aired so early in the morning because TV stations didn’t have enough time between news/talk show programming and network kids blocks which did not have rights to any anime at that time. Another reason might be because TV stations weren’t all that interested in anime…

@CarbyGuuGuu It's true. Before the creation of Toonami, Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z were airing as early as 6:00 AM.

Actually it depends on the state and area you lived in. I remember Pokemon being on after school. But my New Jersey friends said it was on at 8:00am so they weren’t able to see it.

@@philipmarable8698 I live in the state of California but I lived in the city of Sacramento I remember always watching Pokemon on UPN 31 at 4:30 in the evening
