Pokemon Emerald Battle vs Frontier Leader Brandon 

Heres for clarification to everyone who seems to be confused on why this person chose his movesets. Every generation before gen 4, the move TYPE was what determined whether a move was physical or special. I.E., all water type and all fire type moves are special attacks. It wasn't until gen 4 that each individual move was classified as a physical or special. That is why he has fire punch on a special attacker like Gardivoir, because all fire moves are special (regardless if it is a punch). That is why he has hydropump instead of waterfall on a physical attacker like Feraligator, because all water moves are special regardless. God I feel old for having to explain this.

I dont think people quite underatand how hard it is to beat the battle frontier.. 16 badges total, with win streaks in the hundrerds in MULTIPLE different arenas with progressive difficulty required to unlock the insanely hard boss matches. Shit is no joke

1:23 I love how the music seems to get more intense-sounding when Thunder hits, and the HP starts scrolling down. Right when you think the Feraligatr is going to faint, it *JUST* hangs on with 4 HP, the drums kick in, and the music begins to sound more triumphant.

It took me 15 years to finally conquer the Hoenn Battle Frontier the Battle Pyramid & Battle Tower are the hardest facilities but when I finally defeated Brandon and got the Gold Symbol I cried the emotion was overwhelming I did it in 2020 during the first UK Lockdown.

I remember having to go through like a 100 floors in the dark room to have to fight Brandon. I took out regirock and regice and then my medicham decided to mess its high jump kick on registeel -_- it’s been almost 2 decades but I remember.

You can use Cresselia, Heatran and Regigigas for these challenges in Generation 4 and 5. They aren't Ubers, but they are still pretty good if you teach them a variety of strong moves. Also in Metagaming people consider Garchomp to be an Uber since his evasion is raised in sandstorms and he has pretty good stats, but obviously you can still use him in these challenges.

As a kid when I had this game, I never made it to any brains. When I got Platinum and made it to a brain, I loved the music. Now that I realise it's a remix of the Emerald one that makes it a million times better-3

How did the trainer sprites not move with the platforms when entering the battle with brandon?? I've never seen that in my life in Emerald.

first you use Hydropump on Regice, who happens to be the tankiest spD in gen 3 (probably), and then you used brick break with Rhydon even though you had rock slide with STAB and it's still 2x effective... I suppose you could argue the accuracy between the two, but he was asleep anyway...

Water movea are all Special in Gen 3, and Hydro Pump is the strongest one [besides Hydro Cannon, which has to recharge after a turn].

Very few people have succeeded in completing the entire battle frontier, that pokemon game survives the test of time since the newer games don't have a battle frontier aside from generation 4.

@graffitivideos95 theres a move tutor that teachs the punch moves however it costs 48points to get them. These moves can be taught an infinite number of times
