Pokemon: FireRed and LeafGreen commercial 

I'm one of the kids in this commercial. It was filmed in Argentina - we all got picked because we were some of the only kids out of the hundreds that auditioned who could speak English. Good times.

The whispers of the children mixed with the music just makes me feel nostalgic.

Kinda a weird decision to have kids recite the motto of the VILLAINS lol

I love this commercial and I miss the game so much! Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green were the best.

Back when all we had was Digimon Yugioh and Pokémon. None of this Fortnite.

That pokeball sparked an idea: all the cartridge games (3DS, DS) should come in pokeball cases.

I always thought the reason why they had the kids reciting the Team Rocket Motto was because of how they recruited young naive trainers into the cause with the casino and the Nugget Bridge supposedly (like how they recruited the Foot in the original TMNT movie or how students were recruited in Cobra Kai). I know the protagonists (Red and Leaf) both are immune to the idea of joining but I imagine that’s how they recruited some members in the game. Dunno if that is the reason or not but that always made the most sense to me.

This commercial would have made more sense if A:Jessie and James were in the game and B: Is they had 2 kids saying every line,a boy and a girl one dressed in red the other in green.

Oh man I remember these commercials when I was a kid. I literally grew up in the 90's.

they should do a remake and bring back all the kids in this ad as adults, to promote the next new pokemon game. It would be a good for advertisement, and nostalgic to the early pokemon fans.

Yup i saw this video in middle school and thought ..... HOLY CRAP!

With the background music, and the way the kids are whispering it makes me want to cry nostalgic tears of awesomeness.

What was funny was Nintendo said the wireless adapter would be used in many games to come, but shortly after the DS was released with built in wireless and the wireless adapter was left in the technology graveyard!

Pokémon leafgreen was my first ever Pokemon adventure. Even though I was a little late to get the game and had NEVER seen its advertisement until now, it fills me with so much nostalgia, as if I had been aware of this back in the day and remembered it! Funny how the brain works...

Nothing to be ashamed of. Half the time, I choose the female protagonist, too, despite being male myself. Heck, I'm even using the female protag in Leaf Green as it is.,.

for some reason this is the only commercial i remember they made the bad guys motto in a badass way that made me want to battle everyone in school that also had the game to see who had the best pokemon

I remember seeing this commercial for the first time. It had been so long since I'd heard it, I didn't recognize The Motto at first, but I was still reciting it to myself. It wasn't until the bridge scene that I realized what it was. I tell you, a thrill ran through me when the guy said 'Surrender now, or prepare to fight.'

I think LG was my second pokemon game... IDK but the gameboy advances were getting outdated already. (sorry guys I'm younger so I'm not all nostalgic and stuff about red/blue/yellow/gold/silver/crystal, though I've played them)

I wish I can play Pokemon fire red all over again if I had my game Boy advance those were the days that I will always remember I wish I can do it all over again it'd be worth it catching all the pokémon on that game and playing the next one that be better including Pokemon ranger I still wish I could go back to where my Pokemon Jordan began it'd be truly worth it I know because I had played more pokémon games that I can count and I still wish I could go to the Pokemon championship I wish I could have been better in a lot of things including Yu-Gi-Oh I will watch it all over again in a single flashing heartbeat and do it all over again as well and one single flashing second ❤️✌️😌😊☺️👍❤️

I remember seeing this commercial before. I started to recite it with the kids the first time I saw it and couldn't remember where it was from. It took me forever to actually click in what this was advertising. If wasn't for that kid that sad Surrender Now or Prepare to Fight, and me shouting Meowth That's Right!! I would have never realized that was for a Pokemon game...
