I got too much to talk about my dudes it's over for my brain SHANK that like button! / tyranitartube / therealttar Last music from Glitchxcity! • Pokémon X and Y- Anist...
Hey tetar I just got a odd idea since ever last evolution was from X and y it’s possible we might get one or even two new forms and since fairy was in x and y maybe this time could be dragon and steel eveelutions
This game might be future instead of past and what if paldea's future/past paradox cause some kinda chaos in the game since both are near to each other and what if the A pokemon is the "yellow mythic" that every one was exepting to be revealed
Paris during the 1800s was actually rebuilt by Napoleon's nephew and his prefect, Haussman. It was rebuilt in order to modernize the city, to make it more BEAUTIFUL, to unify the different neighborhoods, and to make the city more clean and bright. That rebuilding is the reason why Paris looks the way it does today. Imo, Haussmann could be portrayed as being Lysandre's ancestor in the game. Someone who wants to rebuild the once ugly, filthy Lumiose city into a more beautiful and cleaner version. He wants to bring order to Lumiose.
@@awildmoose6541No, why you all think this game takes place in the Future?!? It is shown in the trailer that there is a project of rebuiliding Lumiose City, so this game MUST take place BEFORE Lumiose City even existed!
@@francescoiorfino2002 are you dumb? do you know what REBUILDING means?? "an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and pokemon" how do you think a city can be redeveloped if that city doesnt exist yet???? the point of the game is to upgrade and expand the now existing city, its in the future and that is a fact
@@francescoiorfino2002how can you Rebuild something that hasn't already been built, to be fair it's more the visuals that make me feel it could be a sequel rather than prequel
As a former urban engineer and current game design student having just completed my design classes, I see a lot of secrets hidden in the Z-A's logo. I sent a theory email, but I'll post it here as well since you probably have a ton of theory emails already and it could easily be drowned out. What's interesting to me are the textures on the Z and A. The Z has cells like Zygarde, but the A has a texture resembling something like plantlife or dragon scales, which could represent growth or Rayquaza, as Mega Rayquaza canonically is the first mega. It's also very interesting how the southern leg of the Z extends into the A like: 1. Replacing the bridge of the A, and 2. A pin through the eye of a needle. Meanwhile, the hyphen sticks halfway outside of the envelope (the general shape of the design), parallel to the leg of the Z. This could just symbolize the flow of time, as Z-A could represent a flow from the end to the beginning, or more succinctly, a visit to the past. The A is certainly the most interesting part of the design as its lack of oblique movement comparative to the Z and hyphen as well as the different hues and textures creates visual weight on the A, emphasizing that it's the most important element to the design. I think if we find out what the A symbolizes, we can have a much more detailed idea of the direction of this game. The A also has serifs, while the Z is sans serif. Serifs are typically used to represent something old or mystical. In this case, probably the former. Sans serif is used in very modern-age typefaces, so the Z is certainly looking like it has strong ties to the future while the A has ties to the past. Maybe the texture of the A is both plantlife and dragon scales, implying a tie to both the past and the origin of mega evolution with Rayquaza. Last thing I want to say is the hexagonal cells of the Z resembles a style of urban planning, where cities are designed in hexagons rather than grids. Hexagon style urban planning is great for common areas (i.e. a main city of a small-medium-sized country), while the grid structure is American and designed for interstate travel and electric power. Common areas or third areas are also a large part of European cities and towns-especially with France, Spain, and Portugal.
A thought, what if it does take place AFTER XY but it's Legends because we're delving deeper into the history of the War and the weapon. You saying from end to the beginning, gives me the idea that we're reaching the end of AZs and the Weapons story. After this game they will truly be put to rest and relegated to the history books.
i love your analysis! i noticed most of these details myself, but my specialty is not graphic design so i would never have been able to put it into words myself lol. if your theories are on the right track, the logo could be hinting at the theory that we'll jump between past and future in this game. it's also interesting to note the potential references to ORAS, for several reasons; 1: AZ appears in ORAS 2: ORAS is the only game other than XY that prominently features Megas (possibly relating to the past/future theme? as in, "past" Hoenn (RSE) didn't have Megas, but "future" Hoenn (ORAS) does) 3: ORAS introduced the idea of parallel universes and branching timelines, which, with all the recent talk of time machines that also pull from parallel universes... it's just interesting how all these elements seem to come together. honestly, i think it's even possible that Paradox forms return. as TTar mentioned, Zygarde is supposedly the one who keeps natural order/balance, yet it did nothing when Paradox forms were released into the wild. could this have something to do with time travel, alternate timelines, and Paradox forms?
Yes! Hear me out. Based on TTar’s theory about a counter ABC trio, the trio is Chaos Pokemon, primal Pokémon and the control Pokémon. Relates to paradox with the primal past forms and control future Pokémon. Even AI was controlled. And Chaos being the opposite of order
Dragonair was shown in the trailer. I hope both Dragonair & Dragonite get a regional form in this Legends game. Similar to how Sliggoo & Goodra got a Hisuian form in Legends Arceus.
i think AZ’s floette HAS to have an important main role because they could’ve just left the title “Pokemon Legends Z” but they intentionally made it to be Z-A hinting to AZ because he quite literally is from the past. also !! a lot of people are speculating this game will be tied to the future or have certain futuristic aspects or parts but i disagree because Z is the last letter of the alphabet and A is the first (obviously.) so that signifies the game going BACKWARDS in time -IM SOOOO HYPED i can’t wait for more trailers to drop and the actual gameplay 🥹
If I remember correctly, dataminers found az's floette sprite in pokemon home (Even though it was never officialy distributed, meaning you won't be able to get her without hacking) I think it may suggest that we will be able to get her in a-z
@@Fanu yes you’re right it was found and there was so much unreleased content regarding floette and more XY lore that they completely scrapped which is unfair considering it was the only gen to not get a sequel or any kind of new iteration but now we finally have it
It's 1000% a big part of the game. Even the font color of the word "Pokémon" is pink, in reference to Floette's color (especially its shiny color). No other key pokémon would have this color in gen 6. Xerneas is blue, Yveltal is black/red(/white), Zygarde is black/green(/white), shiny included. Also agreed on the going backwards in time with the ZA pattern, especially when they mention urban development. I also want to shiny hunt Eternal Floette.
Something I would like to bring up is that the Z-A logo might be also referencing the Greek Alphabet like how they did in ORAS. The "A" looks like the Greek Letter Lambda, "Λ". Considering they also used Omega, Alpha, and Delta from the Greek Alphabet in the gen 3 remakes, I have to wonder if they might also be using Zeta as well, which looks like Z already. Mega Evolution is tied to both Hoenn and Kalos, which Chi, "χ" for Xerneas, and Gamma/or Upsilon, which could be"γ" for Yveltal. We also know that the XYZ Axis are referencing Gen 6 being the first 3D games in the main series. Putting into the idea that the Z is being used to complete the "A", by using Lambda as the base letter, I'm seeing common design choices by using Greek Letters like they did in ORAS.
Zygarde showed up in alola and probably fought off the ultra beasts like the kahunas and tapus while the protagonist is fighting ultra necrozma and then went to the cave in alola where we find it
I keep reading the title like its Legends Zygarde through Arceus I am SO hyped at the possibilities Highkey just want them to expand on the 4 mythicals that just got relegated to gamestop codes- Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Magearna your time is NOW! LETS GO!!
@@liamwerner2280 That's pretty fair tbh, my only case for it to be in Z-A is that it feels like another piece of their scrapped ideas they pushed into alola (like perfect zygarde), especially since the movie has all the xyz protags, mega evolution and volcanion
@@liamwerner2280Ehhh but it was created in Kalos. I believe its specifically stated it was Created in the Azoth Kingdom of Kalos. And let's say even if it's considered a gen 7 Pokemon, we got Enamarous which is a part of the genie legendaries of gen 5 in legends Arceus. Legends I believe is a game where the imagination and inspiration can come from Anywhere.
@RelimitedDK It's a weird half and half, the movie was clearly kalos as is its origin, but it got released through gamestop for alola. Think of it like perfect zygarde in sun and moon, leftovers from what would've been the xy sequels.
CAN'T WAIT. Kalos is so underexplored. There's a strong emphasis on the Z pattern (Zygarde obviously), then the A for ZA (reverse of AZ) so Az's story or backstory, and then the pink color for the Pokémon word which references Eternal Floette (especially in shiny form). There's so MUCH they can do with this one. The HYPE is real.
Just to put this out there mega flygon must happen here. I love it when ttar just spits out ideas like this for future games and then once the game comes out i look back to this video to see how much he got spot on
I think it would be cool if he revisited his videos on older games to see what he got right. Might be impossible tho considering the sheer quantity of theories he covers 😅
I can see it, at least definitely an "A" legendary. The Z coloring has Zygarde's hexagonal design motif so the A coloring with those rounded scales or whatever might be the design motif of this "A" legendary
A-Z legendary colours Xerneas 💙, Yveltal ❤️, Zygard 💚= RGB Additive colours A 🩷, B 🩵, C 💛 = CYM Subtractive Colours The legendaries could be counterparts in that way.
It does to me too but I believe the plot will involve stopping the fight between Xerneas and Yveltal since the same NPC says in different things in different games and the manga says that Xerneas and Yveltal fight and that manga also had said that Kyogre and Groudon fight and it was made true in Pokémon Emerald so it could happen again
Wait I just realized we will most likely be getting all of the mythicals from this region just like in legends arceus, and that is very good due to these mythicals being some of the most inaccessible Pokémon ever.
Not mythical, but I really want them to have the Swords of Justice in these games since they're based off the Three Musketeers and it makes no sense for Unova to have 2 Quadrets and Kalos to have nothing.
ZOOLOGY = Pokémon ARTIFICIAL = Mankind Zygarde represents the natural/order world A****** represents the artificial/chaos world Volcanion may be retconned to be one of these artificial trio 👀
Also the replanning thing - in urban planning field there is a trend of starting to plan cities with animals and plants in mind so with could be a hint toward that the city is being planned for pokemon too not just humans
I was thinking that Xerneas and Yveltal would get primal or complete forms just like how Zygarde has one. Perhaps they could function like how Primal Groudon and Kyogre work in ORAS.
Zygarde only has that form because it's a formation of multiple cells. The serpent form was established early in the anime to only use 1 core and some cells, when we knew there were at least 4 cores. So it was a given that they introduced the Complete Form later on.
They could make that it the A-C legendaries are based on the industrial revolution (a bit cliché but it would be the classic "nature vs humans/culture")
I think the starters are gonna be piplup, torchic, and snivy. They were featured with the other Legends starters in one of the Indigo Disk trailers, Empoleon and Blazkien just recently got tera raids(possibly hinting at their Kalos types?), and Empoleon and Serperior are very French inspired.
Okay so hear me out... Maybe the A-Z title is Arceus and Zygarde or something. Edit: 3:19 I have to say, the legendary trio from X and Y are very similar to the hindu mythology trinities. God Brhama is said to be the creator and one to give life just like xerneas, Shiva is the destroyer who ends the world like yuvltal and Vishnu is the preserver who keeps balance and order in the world like Zygarde and funny thing is that Zygarde's snake like form is what Lord Vishnu sits on. Idk maybe its a coincidence or not.
unlikely. too many parallels to norse mythology. eikthyrnir as xerneas, vedrfolnir as yveltal, and zygarde as jormungandr (the midgard serpent). as for a hypothetical anti/bastardized trio, which i find unlikely, we could see a squirrel (ratatoskr), a goat (heidrun), and perhaps another serpent to mirror jormungandr, likely nithoggr. more likely, i think we'll just see ratatoskr represented if anything- as it serves as a divine mailman moreso than a deity.
Ive got some ideas too, Here they go past and future gimmick My idea is that you'll be able to switch between the past and future in Pokemon Legends Z-A. It's been announced that Pokemon Legends Z-A is going to be played strictly in Lumiose City (now known as Miare city). No matter how big they make Lumiose city having one city isnt going to be enough for a whole game so being able to switch from past Lumiose to future Lumiose would be a cool gimmick, and essentially gives you two maps to explore. Also, the architecture would most definitely be different between two eras offering two distinct areas. The Trailer also shows drawn blueprints of the city as well as digital blueprints. This serves as more proof that there will be past and future, as future would have no need for drawn blueprints when everything can be done digitally. The last and present gimmick makes even more sense when you think about how the game will be played. You obviously need to catch pokemon, but there is no tall grass in urban cities such as the type of developments being made to Lumiose. How will you catch pokemon? Well you could probably go to the edge of the city to catch them, but I think it would be a cool feature if you did most of the catching in the past, and most of the battling in the future. The pats wouldn't have as many buildings as the future and there will probably be untouched, undeveloped land, where there can be pokemon to be caught. As for the starters I cant really think of who they will be, but i have an idea for one To start, there will be no gen 6 starters, just like there was no gen 4 starters in Hisui. The starter I feel has the greatest chance of being in Legends Z-A is piplup. Kalos is based on Paris, and Napoleon (which Piplups evolution Empoleon is based on) was a very prominent figure in French history.
Z-A is probably in reference too Zygarde and Az- floette We never got az floette in XY,ORAS,SM Even tho it had its own dex entries and signature move in the files
I could imagine the "evil" versions of the ABC legendaries to reflect the blob, the dog, and final "snake" form of Zygarde. We never really got any info on why it's incomplete forms are a blob and dog before it gets the final form.
Kalosian Lugia and Kalosian Ho-Oh. Complete the bird variations. We got the Galarian Kanto Birds, and since people expected this to be a Johto game announcement rather than a Kalos game, it would be totally fitting.
5:23 we also know that there needs to be a strong bond to mega evolve a Pokémon, I interpret this as mega Pokémon with out a strong bond(with a few exceptions) will go insane due to the pain but a mega Pokémon with a strong bond can power through the pain and ignore like they are filled with adrenaline
One thing i wanna point out is that the Z in the logo obviously resembles the green and black of zygarde. The A, however, resembles a white and a tealish kinda color which reminds me of a certain pokemon’s shiny colors…
I think that since Zygarde awakens when the ecosystem is in danger, it will grow angry at the urbanizing of Lumiose city, and if Zygarde is in a weakened state, it will have other pokemon consume Zygarde Cells and create this game's version of Alpha pokemon, who use Zygarde's cells kind of like a symbiotic relationship. Some pokemon will consume more cells than others, and the protag is tasked with defeating the Alpha pokemon. Some Alpha pokemon could include notable Kalos pokemon like Malamar, Barbaracle, Pyroar, and Trevanet. Additionally, Xerneas and Yveltal could be the two mon to consume the most Zygarde Cells.
That is actually a very interesting take specially if the game is in the past. Exploring how Pokemon can react badly to urbanization would be a very fascinating storyline.
I think the game will be us doing ecological research and building the city as the game progresses. This is to create a city where also pokemon can thrive as in how cities are now created for other species to protect the decline in biodiversity
That’s cool, except the official website states redevelopment of lumiose city to a place where BOTH people and Pokemon belong and coexist. The urban planners have good intentions for including Pokemon.
Maybe we're gonna get Kalosian Empoleon and Serperior 😍 (the 2 french inspired starters) Also the black Z and the A when it glows to almost white maybe hint a role for Zekrom and Reshiram given their statues at Parfum Palace. Zekrom fits in with the more futuristic almost digital looking Z (Black City) and Reshiram with the A that looks like plantlife (White Forrest).
What if the city builds/expands as we journey through our adventure? Which is why we see the city being drawn out in the beginning. A symbol of expansion. Like how a few houses were built in Legends Arceus.
I wonder if the Team Flare Admin names give a hint in some way as their names are Aliana, Bryony, and Celosia, which seem like wildly weird names if they had no significance After some brief research, I've come to a half-conclusion A liana means Noble or gracious B ryony is a climbing PLANT that has greenish-white flowers and red berries. Native to Eurasia, it is the only British member of the gourd family. C elosia is a common PLANT in Minnesota for gardening beds We also know that Xerneas takes the form of a TREE when its life source runs low and Yveltal shutters into a COCOON to rest. Zygarde is based off of Nidhoggr, a dragon or serpent that gnaws on the roots of the world TREE. Long Story short, I'm guessing well be seeing some sort of world tree storyline.
This is all part of a plan to have us re-buy the same region. The underdevelopment concept and “Z-a” I think references construction and there will be a “Z-b”. These are underlying zones used in construction as new buildouts are done in phases. In this case we will have to purchase additional contents or zones to finish the story like they started in sword and shield.
I have a feeling the game will only take place inside the city and nowhere else. When it shows the map it shows it pretty detailed split into dif sections. I also think it’s set in the future
i think he didnt mention Giratina because canonically it has a change of heart after the Volo Battle and even returns to stop Cyrus and save Dialga and Palkia in Platinum
Would love to see your thoughts on potential mega evolutions similar to what you did for the hype season of BDSP. Giving the legendaries new megas and abilities
THEORY: What if Zygarde (Z) is symbolic the “end” of the Pokémon world as we know it, and Arceus (A) is symbolic of the “beginning” of the Pokémon work as we know it. This could be why they made legends first, and then legends Z-A possibly because the “Legend” series will be combining all of the lore of how Pokémon started, to where it was almost potentially ended amongst the war that happened in the Kalos history. It’s very open ended, but I find it weird that it’s titled Z-A when we don’t have the (A) Pokémon unless it’s Arceus, and it may also be no coincidence that they made legends Arceus first before Z to explain the beginning of HOW Pokémon modernized into the world it is, and Z-A may explain WHY it had to in the first place.
A big theory is that AZ and his brother were the Galarian heros, who then went on to take over Unova and Kalos with his brother. AZ being the first king of Kalos and also leading into the two of them being the Unovan princes. AZ leading Kalos against Unova after him and his brother fight and split the original dragon. His brother being Harmonia, the king buried in the Abyssal Ruins. Bird Keeper Toby has a really cool video on it but I think there's a very strong possibility that we can see all 3 regions in the game. Especially since the war is gonna be a focus (I mean the A in the title looks like the ultimate weapon.)
I’m only throwing wild theories. Z-A is a hint that we will start off in the past and play throughout Kalo’s history. The Z hexagonal pattern representing the first simple cells and moving into shimmering futuristic A into a more current Kalos. We will live through many ages like AZ, but we are ZA.
Such a cool theory! I’d love to see another trio of legendaries fight our current Kalos ones that we know or at least oppose them! It’d be unprecedented but not entirely new like with Kyorgre vs Groudon.
We are building the Lumiose City we see in X,Y. You can see the blueprint for the city layout at some point in the trailer. I think the trailer we saw is actually a render of what the project is supposed to look like. It’s a massive urbanization project. This will be a battle between the nature trio vs the Artificial (Z-A)
We're definitely going to be using pokemon to climb into vents and sewer/underground areas. Maybe this is the reason they introduced us to the syncro feature in The Indigo Disk DLC
I’m curious if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the name Z-A is really interesting. Typically, people will say something along the lines of “This covers everything from A to Z”, which colloquially would mean it covers everything. Here we have them intentionally naming a game Z-A, which is almost the opposite. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y’s stories took place after a war that happened 3000 years prior. I wonder if this game has anything to do with what happened directly after X and Y, but then directly feed into what happens with the war 3000 years ago? Like we get to see the end of the Kalos story, but it also takes us directly to the beginning of the Kalos story.
It won't take place after XY, the line about redeveloping it into a city where both people and Pokemon can exist in harmony (something Lumoise city is known for in XY) points to the fact that it's the past version of lumiose and that the protag helps it become what it is in the original games
Im really excited for this game and ive thought of some ideas some thing ive seen on twitter after the announcement is that the game could take place only within lumiose city? which idk how that would work. while watching the trailer i thought the way the game was teased was very future inspired even the sketch section section shows ppl wearing modern clothes. even the words used in the official site could mean that lumiose is being added to in order to better incorporate pokemon into it and them live in it. being set after the events of the main game could explain the new megas since they could be newly discovered, or the stones were created from the use of the new ultimate weapon? linking xerneas and yveltal themselves to mega evolution? if the game is set in the future i wonder if they would pick another set of starters like arceus and if they would give them new forms or megas(maybe both) but idk if they would pick a random set to give megas and just leave the rest 2 of each set out. they could give megas/forms to the kalos starters considering the lack of love given to them in their own game. if the games were to still be set in the past then they could still do everything but i wonder how they would explain it or if they would at all.
I love this theory (btw on the video where you go through the official website I have a theory talking about megas if you want to read it ttar to help with theory’s and ideas 👍)
I’m theorizing that there is some sort of A or Alpha Pokémon. The title Legends Z-A immediately took me back to these videos and I instantly thought of AZ and AZOTH, and all the Alchemy jazz going on in Gens 6 and 7. My current ideas are either that the A legendary will be based on Ratatosk(r), the squirrel that delivers insults and gossip to and from an unnamed eagle and Nidhoggr (Zygarde). Yveltal is either based on the unnamed eagle, or Vedrfolnir the hawk that sits between the eagles eyes. So whichever one Zygarde is not could very well be the A legendary. Xerneas is based on the four stags that live at the base of Yggdrasil, and in its dormant state also kinda looks like Yggdrasil. The last ones (and this one’s probably the biggest reach) could be that the A legend could be based on one (or all) of the three Norns, Urdr, Verdandi, and Skuld. They are three guardian goddesses who tend to and water the Yggdrasil. Personally I’m leaning between Ratatosk and one of the birds, just since animals tend to fit better as Pokémon inspirations. I also think Ratatosk is the most likely since he is the most well known of the yet unused creatures of Yggdrasil. I also think Ratatosk could be a good suit since he is known for his antics spreading gossip and insults, and I’d argue he’s the most chaotic of the bunch. He would need to be the counter part to Zygarde, Life, Death, Order and Chaos.
Even though this is likely taking place in the past, I wouldn't be opposed to a futuristic approach to the Legends series. All in all, I will be hyped either way and Kalos finally getting closure for a lack-luster story is so needed.
The way I read Z-A is that Z is the end of the alphabet, and A is the beginning. This reads to me that the game will be about new beginnings after an end, so like a fresh start This has a deeper meaning when you think about Xerneas being about breathing new life, and Yveltal about taking life
I feel since nothing else was shown we will probably be running around this area as the main "game" area. This is the game so it will be a massive city, like, an open world city. We have already, when looking at this from a birds eye view, have had that in a way if you look at the patterns in the top down view of the city I feel like I am seeing the Terarium. The waterways are the breaks instead of blocks in between the areas of the city. The DLC may be the outer parts of the map outside of the city if that even happens but you do see the "time" change in this with the way the over head view of the city it goes from digital to paper. I feel like we may be able to traverse or see the differences in time from these "two" sides.
Legends ZA is going back to the time of AZ, so we are possibly going to learn specifically how he met and revived eternal flower floette and the lengths he went to to build the ultimate weapon. It seems sort of obvious with their build up in the trailer. Maybe a Pokémon similar to Terapagos was the energy source AZ found for his machine given that mega evolution and terastallizing require tremendous amounts of energy simply to exist as a power for Pokémon.
My thinking is that the new Legends game, going from Z (Zygarde) to A (Arceus), hints that it is a prequel to Legends Arceus. Kamado might be a key character tying both games together. 1. Kamado's armour is rather similar to what is worn by Wikstrom, a member of the Kalos Elite 4. 2. Kalos' Professor Sycamore studied under Professor Rowan, Kamado's descendant, when he was younger. 3. The Fist plate that Kamado gives you reads: "The rift is born of disorder on the other side of this world." Zygarde is the Order Pokemon. Kalos is kind of on the other side of Hisui, when comparing their real world counterparts. Kamado and Beni immigrated to Hisui after their hometown was burned down. This could be a key plot point for Z-A, whose centralizing theme is urban redevelopment. With the opening scene quite reminiscent of Detective Pikachu's artstyle, I could see a story idea inspired by the Suburban Redevelopment Fund arc from LA Noire. The villains' aim is to use the redevelopment plan as a front to embezzle money from the local government. To force holdouts to sell, they would agitate wild Pokemon to burn down their houses. One such victim would be Kamado (and Beni). The player, potentially a Faller like Anabel from Ultra Sun and Moon, would be a member of the International Police, assigned to investigate strange happenings in Kalos
between the trailer's aesthetic, the future-past split of Violet and Scarlet (hinted at by Z-A instead of A-Z) and the pain-for-power-eased-by-friendship aspect of Mega Evolution(edit1: resembling the kind of body modification common in such a story), I think this is going to be a Future Legends game done in cyberpunk theming edit2: what I'm trying to get at is that we're stuck on the idea of a Legends game being a trip to the past like we were stuck on the next game being Johto/Unova when we only had the one example to draw from(edit3: one example of a Legends game), related to this is how the trailer mentioned Urban RENEWAL, implying that Lumiose City was/will be a city in disrepair when we see it in game.
Since in the XY anime, they said how in the past the battle bond phenomenon took place and so if its set in the past, then we could see the protagonist of the game receive a Froakie (prob from the ninja village) or as a starter, that could have the Battle bond ability and have some form of plot line. Another thing could be about Magearna since it could also be set in the time period Magearna is built (there is a movie with Magearna set in Kalos before Sun and Moon was introduced) So to sum it up if its set in the past, battle bond Greninja could return and some form of plot point with Magearna due to it being built 500 years ago.
Another cool thing about this release is that all the pokemon that still aren't available on the Switch are in Kalos' pokedex(elemental monkeys and Furfrou are in the central pokedex and the watchog line is in the mountain dex) Maybe all the pokemon will finally be available to be transfered to a switch game now.
Zygarde ONLY intervenes if there is an unresolved upset to the natural balance. This was shown in a flashback in the kalos anime episode that studied the history of the xyz of legendary Pokémon. Zygarde is left in terminus cave in the games because the player beats Lysander and the ultimate weapon is destroyed, meaning there is no disturbance to the order of nature as needed to rouse it.
We do have the A for... Arceus. Would be pretty fun that we going back in time because Zygarde is going haywire and getting controlled by the main villain, callback to Legends Arceus. Then, we end up fighting Perfect Zygarde XD
I’m very interested in what kalosian forms will be in game and what starters will be in the game. This means whatever starters gets added this means it will have a new form with a potential mega evolution. They are making BIG decisions with this game.
I think also compared to Arceus, they seem to definitely be investing more into this. Whereas Arceus was more so hype for BDSP, this seems to be like something they want to have its own hype (which means promise for the future).
