Hey. Whats the best Pokemon to do the Lv.1-Dungeons (like some of the Zero Isle Dungeons)? What would you say? The Dungeons where you have to start as a Baby-Pokemon; how to beat them?
Fun fact, Palkia is the only member of the IQ group which gets super mobile in this game, the J group. That makes Palkia just even more valuable than it already is (I mean goddamn it, this pokémon has almost everything in this game, great defensive and offensive typing, spacial rend for a reliable monster house killer...)
@@theiosgamer4705 Depends on your IQ group. Some IQ groups can learn some things, some can learn other things, that kinda thing. Look it up on Bulbapedia if you're interested, I believe there are two separate pages for IQ stuff, one listing which pokemon are in which group, the other listing off what they can learn.
@@theiosgamer4705 yes, it's called Absolute Mover, it doesn't just destroy walls, you can also move through lava, water almost anywhere, it's a convenient iq skill to have after stair sensor.
I love how this dungeon is a throwback to not only the dungeons you've encountered throughout your journey, but also the ones from Rescue Team Red & Blue. I think this game truly brought the series to a good circle before it started again with Infinity.
I remember I had skitty as my character which is like the weakest character but I was so dedicated that I got my skitty up to a level where it could one shot psuedo-legendaries in dungeons using the REGULAR A ATTACK. I didn't need elixirs anymore 😂😂
I did that in Blue Dungeon with a Skarmory xD I remember taking down above 1.300HP in a single Drill Pick to a Shedinja, or taking 2.000HP from Mewtwo with Aerial Attack. Normal attacks could insta-kill Kecleons and more xD That Skarmory was a freaking God.
Nature giver IQ is actually OP. Distributed items that you eat to the entire team, so you can eat Sitrus and Life Seeds for HP, Oran berries, and golden/joy seeds to level up 4 (or 3) Pokemon at once
Honestly way better than Destiny Tower. Keeping your stats but hammering you with high level and high IQ Pokémon is far superior to handicapping you with a level drop and hammering you with low level garbage.
Unlike the previous spin-off game line (Rescue Team), IQ skills got split in numerous groups (TEN!!!), among the new skills as well, to prevent, for reasons of balance, maximum abuse during the postgame. (That worked out so well...) Now, for about 90% of the cases (A to H) the common mortals, skills tend to be relatively balanced, with some (quite Gummi/Juice-expensive) exceptions, such as Trap Seer (B/D/G). Only the *Three Legends* have their exclusive IQ Groups, with super broken skills: the *Time Master* ( *Dialga* ) and the *Time Thief* ( *DARKRAI!!!!* ) have "I" ( *Time* ) (Giratina has been nerfed and relegated to a minor hermit role. Press F to pay respects) (Arceus isn't playable). *Palkia* , the one-and-only *Space Master* , has J (Space, obviously), the unique and last Skill group, having a broken and slightly divergent set (from " *Time* ") of skills to learn: among them, the legendary Super Mobile/Forge A Path (keep in mind it was before the belly-consuming nerf and that thing that tells him where the stairs are. *TL;DR: You see those tricks in the video? That's right. Only Palkia can do them.* (ok, except Intimidator) P.S.: Before someone says Grovyle is the one called "Time Thief", I don't have to explain the plot twist, don't I?
This has ZI North’s 1 restriction which is you don’t earn exp from defeating enemies. Also, you can’t bring more than 16 items and no traps can be revealed, even if you trigger them. It’s wise to be at max level for this. And going solo may also be better.
i have this game but my ds broke i have all the legendaries also i was planning to do the zero isle dungeons but never did because i dont have a ds anymore i now have a job and planning to buy a 3ds in the future so i could play all my pokemon games i have :)
i went into this island not knowing or remembering whatever the hell it was and got completely shat on. i got blown tf back and ended up salty as hell for the next 30 minutes. its funny looking back on it tho because i was just soooo mad that i lost all my shit lmao. i wish some one was recording because i would probably laugh at it. i was so mad
If you wanna be a real cheater, use a drifblim without an item. May not burrow through walls, but all moves hit twice. That includes ominous wind and minimize. And ominous wind has a chance to proc with every individual hit. Carry a flying gem in the bag for even more hits.
notheing games actually every one of these IQ skills are great when used properly. Dedicated traveler: if an opponent is too strong or you just don’t want to deal with it, just run. There you go. Gap Prober: Your teammate can shred opponents through you ( Venusaur is a pretty good example, just be careful through walls). Lava evader: kinda useless, most Pokemon don’t go into lava lol. Haggler, extra money I think? Not bad. And non sleeper helps against yawn, grass whistle, spore, and traps. I think Nature Giver is bad though. Most of the time the seeds are negative effects, except for Iran and sitrus berries.
I know this video is ancient, but what are your thoughts on selective egg "farming." By finding certain eggs, (species varie on dungeon Pokemon,) you can select Pokemon with enhanced stats and with egg moves (following 4th gen egg moves - I found some egg moves are harder to obtain.)For example, a long time ago, I got a larvitar that had dragon dance, along with 30 attack and special attack at level 1! I found out that you can reset over and over to change the undesired egg moves until you have the ones you want. I did test to see if it mattered. Amazingly, my recruited Venomoth had the same stats as the mission recruited one at level 40, while my level 20 egg Venomoth had better stats than both of them. I also tested evolution which seemed to increase stats of course, but in certain cases spike the stat gain upon leveling. It's almost as if it was trying to make up for the lost of exp in the earlier stages. Idk, I found it super cool. Yet, an egg corsola has complete trash stats and gains ;( oh, and you can't relearn egg moves at Elec learned it the hard way.
It's great, but impractical without generator if you are looking for a specific pokemon. Some moves are great for coverage (elemental punches/fangs) while others are great for linking (Charge + Discharge, Mind Reader + Room Moves, etc.). Speed boosting moves like Dragon Dance and Agility are always great to spam because it's broken in Mystery Dungeon (and for dealing with hax). The increased stats doesn't really matter since you can always cap it with gummies and vitamins.
Princess Peach No, unless you have a Haze user in your team or near a Wonder Tile. Draco Meteor lowers your Special Attack by 2 stages, which will significantly reduce your damage for your next attack unless you reset your stat drop.
Damn I used to love the mystery dungeon games. Last I played properly was EoT I feel like things went down hill when they tried the whole 3D model thing. But DX was a good nostalgia trip for half the game
Palkia's last IQ Skill, Absolute Mover, lets him break through walls and is completely unique to him. Another skill called Map Surveyor is why the map layout is shown.
Late but in sky, you have to wait a day or 2 after manaphy comes back and joins u. When the ursarings talk to you about luminous spring you'll be able to evolve
Kristin B. Absolute mover iq skill in the J group palkia is in the J group. And since palkia is the only one in the group. Only Palkia can exclusively learn that iq skill.
It's my impression or the palkia seems to be kinda weak for being a lvl100 Pokemon? I remember oneshotting with normal attacks when I was a child, maybe you didn't fill palkia up with proteins eccetera
wow palkia, being a legendary mon, seems to die a lot there. only if i have the 999hp deoxys from rescue team, then i can give it to you and do the challenge again no problem idk if you can still have the op deoxys in explorers tho
What happened last for you? If it was graduation, do two days of jobs and then go searching for Mr. Mime in Treasure Town. This should push you onto the rest of the story.
You get your party member 3 star exclusive items at the end of Zero Isle Center. Since I only brought Palkia, all four boxes has Palkia’s exclusive item which is Air Blade.
iwanttoeatsomeone question. If you took in Palkia and 3 other people that you wanted the 3 star exclusive item for, then sent them all home, will you still get their items?
No, from my testing you only get the team leader exclusive item. Meaning if Palkia is the leader, you will always get 4 Air Blades. The boxes are mainly for getting legendary pokemon exclusive items without a key or going to level 1 dungeons.
iwanttoeatsomeone Ow darn, thats too bad. Well do you know what’s the best way to recruit Kecleon? I’m using Mew but are there any specifics that can help me do it? (Pokemon, items (besides essentials), moves). And what dungeon(s) are best to farm health drinks and Wonder Gummis? Oh and btw I have already recruited Kecleon before but I reset my game.
To recruit Kecleon you need Fast Friend IQ skill and Golden Mask/Amber Tear. Another things you will need: - Mobile Orb - Big/Huge/Golden Apples - Violent Seeds - Reviver Seeds - Evasion Orb/Double Team - Substitute -Trawl Orb/Pure Seed (optional) - Oran/Sitrus Berries After finding a Kecleon Shop, explore the whole floor and find the stairs to the next floor. Then max out your attack and evasion and use mobile orb. Steal the shop to summon the kecleons army, then quickly hide inside a wall (preferably near the stairs) and equip Golden Mask/Amber Tear (make sure you have fast friend and over level 90). With this setup most of the attacks from the kecleons will miss. Make sure to refill your belly/hp/pp as needed. Defeat as many Kecleon as possible before you get sent back by the turn limit. If a Kecleon joins your team, send it back so it doesn’t waste your reviver seeds. To escape, use substitute on an enemy to make the kecleons attack it and ignore you. After getting to the next floor you will be able use escape orb to exit the dungeon. For farming vitamins, the Zero Isles has tons of it. Just do whichever is easiest to you. As for Wonder Gummi, the only guaranteed drop is from Zero Isle North end boxes. The boxes from the sky exclusive dungeons may also contain Wonder Gummies. However, farming gummies from Marine Resort is far quicker and easier. If you play the sky version, the best way to use gummies is to use it at spinda cafe. Not only will you get the iq boost, you also get a guaranteed stat boost for every gummi drinks.
Well my young lad do you have a palkia well then give your palkia lots of gummies once your palkia get 10 whole stars then you get the absolute mover iq
It's generally meant to be a shortcut if you don't want to get your 3* item by luck or over time. Destiny Tower has an actual "reward" but the dungeon is nowhere near as legitimate a challenge. Dropping to level one is so dumb.
