The Fancy Snivy Super training is a good start for beginners. Once you get the hang of it, Horde Training is the best/fastest way to EV your Pokemon.

There is a fourth stage to the ev training, but only with a pokemon with max evs. You play in challenge cups to acquire a large training bag and an item like a leaf stone if you do well.

You can also get random bags by hitting the bare bag or with a special bag. I'm not sure, but they appear more frequently when you are training a pokemon that has the smile next to it.

As a fun little fact, it seems as though when your pokemon is "fully trained" (has the macho man symbol in the top left of your bottom screen); your pokemon will find large bags, reset bags, and 2X bags with a greater frequency than most pokemon. You can then either have your pokemon slowly find bags while you go about your day-to-day trainings, or furiously tap the blank bag to quickly stock up on the more rare bags.

The fact that theres an EV reset bag fills me with happyness. Theres so many pokemon in Black 2 that i messed up the ev training off that this is a god send after i transfer them to Y :D

once you have your EVs sorted out then you can just do whatever you want and he will get the stats as he levels. you will notice an extremely fast growth in the stats that you maxed him out in compared to the other stats

Both Core Training and using the Bags boost the stats; they perform the same function. For example, if you do a Level 3 Attack Core Training, and you get an Attack Bag L, your Pokemon will ultimately gain 24 Attack EVs. You could also give the Bag to another Pokemon and train two of them simultaneously, like I did.

I feel like this is one of the big reasons X and Y are so easy. Even without Megas and the plethora of strong pokemon you get at the start, you can max out your whole team's evs before fighting the first gym, regardless of what pokemon are available to grind against, and without even leveling up once, which is crucial in Nuzzlockes.

+kibaanddog once it's level 50 it will be maxed out you're training your level 50 stats by super training so you won't see improvement in the summary tab until you level up but it'll be there

Horde battling pokemon of the relevant ev is a better way to train multiple pokemon for the same desired stat increase. Use a pokemon with sweet scent to initiate them, and keep a pokemon with a multi target attack in the lead, being sure to have the exp share on.

if you asking about the 3 different levels for the super training, the higher the level the more points you get when you beat it. though they also get "harder" as you go from 1 to 3.

Abdallah u know that doing ev training with hordes it takes to max out a stat about 5 minutes (10 if u dont spread pokerus) what is really cool about the super tranining is that u can train your pokemon to the exact eve spread that u want just 92 in hp ill do vitamins and some super training but if i want to max out a stat to 252 ill do the horde battle way

Reset bag resets ALL ev's, so if you're willing to, you can do that, but for 1 stat in particular, you can use the Berries.

It does help thanks! So it's pretty much the same as before, only 2 stats can be leveled up through EVs. I also better turn off Exp. Share then so the Pokemon I want to EV train doesn't gain any unwanted EVs.

Nice guide! I didn't know how the bonus bags worked until early this morning -_- And fully EV training a pokemon takes MUCH longer than 20 minutes. I'm pretty bad at the level 3 challenges, but still, I don't think you can fully EV train a pokemon in just 15-20 minutes.

There are 2 ways to tell. One, when you train up to the max you will get a reduced number (like 3 for a medium bag, instead of the regular 4, just as an example). Another is, there is a bar on the right side of the screen that fills as you gain EVs. 255 is half full, 510 is completely full. There is also a little pentagon with a stat in each corner. A little indicator reaches out from the center of the pentagon out toward the stat you're increasing. I don't like the pentagon indicator much... :)

Well, I made that comment before I knew how short of a time it took to use the horde method, so that's on me. I've now tried both methods, but I still like using Super Training (it feels like more of an achievement)
