See how to change the drive clutch on a Polaris Ranger 900XP. To start, you’ll need to access the clutch, so reference the link above to see the belt replacement video where John shows you how to reach the clutch and remove the clutch cover.
In this video, we’ll start by showing you how to use a clutch puller to remove the drive clutch from the machine. Once we get it off the Ranger, we can take a closer look at the sheaves to determine if the clutch needs to be replaced. Next, John will show you how to prepare a new drive clutch by removing the spring and the weights from the old drive clutch and transferring them to the new unit. After we get the new drive clutch assembled, we’ll prepare the surfaces of the sheaves so that they will properly engage the drive belt. Finally, we’ll install the new clutch.
