I’m wondering why you don’t have more comments and why you are the only one who has anything online about this. I’m rebuilding my xp1000 and I have the same issue, even have the same grooves in the case. How much deflection did the new chain have after installing it?
I change mine every 1000 miles. Really depends on how hard you are riding and if you have good air filtration. I have over 3000 miles on rebuild and still going strong.
