Talk about nice country for riding snowmobiles... wow... maybe I "should" move to Minnesota.. that's beautiful country... nice big Long Lake with canals and things.... could just pin the throttle and keep it there... ride right up to the Beer / liquor store on your snowmobile... yeah , I'm liking what I'm seeing...
When I was a kid, born in 87 sleds were everywhere. Kids knocking down any bit of fresh snow on the trails. Now that I'm older there's like 5 sets of tracks in all of town. The lone rider anymore.
You know but I'm not surprised because I could see easily that you were extremely hard worker I could see that from the start months ago weeks ago I don't know whatever
I Never could get my old 650 that snappy . Triple pipes , carbs done , clutching gearing everything . She ran good up top but I had a lot of trouble getting it to come out of the hole like the newer sleds . She held her own tho.
Now THAT looks like a heck of a lot of fun, nice and open room to turn loose. Like our dry lakes I could be converted. Thanks Todd and friends. Central California Watching
Was working on my sled earlier this evening actually... completed a fixture that I built... it's a fulcrum arrangement that I engineered.... leverage arrangement lifts the track of the sled up off the trailer so that I can warm up the track while the sled is still on the trailer.... yes I know I should be showing the stuff on RU-vid but I'm new here a little bit
In my opinion a single can sounds better than stingers on the triples. As long as the single can or 3 into one has a straight through packe core, of coarse. Though i never ran tripple pipes on my xlt way back when, I did buy a DG silencer/can. I also did use an MBRP 3 into one can on my 800 xcr. Stingers in some configurations sound better at idle while the single or 3 into one straight through have a nicer tone at 8-9000 rpm. Obviosly this is only my opinion...lol
I had a 88 650 indy ported and polished carbs bored with decker pipes nose cone radiator built to drag race won lots of races with it Sled sounded awesome really fast too
