That sled was in much worse shape when my husband and I looked at it, the hood burned up only had one ski on it and the best part was the pictures of it at that time on market place the sled was in almost great shape well it was clearly not when we looked at it. It was together with another ultra in even worse shape but it had a nice 800 storm motor in it that ran but didn't at that moment since there was only 1 carb on it.
Grandmas number one rule at the lake house, that has been passed down and still stands today.........No running on the dock!!......... And if you fell in with out a life jacket on you were gonna drown, I think I drown three times the summer of 79' LoL Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Dennis and I had a good laugh at this one! Classic Video! One of your best! The hood slam! Sorry to hear about Trenton's toe. That part sucks! You didn't call it a "Kid Sled" though 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Recognized those alum skis immediately....built from 6 beer cans at most....sure were light, but half an ice chip would buckle 'em, only place we could run them were on our ice drag sleds. Hard to believe a set made it this long!
@@toddclyne3493 pick your brain a bit I looked at the number on my heads and it was labeled 03. This is my 97 Indy ultra spx se also what’s the difference between the spx and the se TY
You bought that?? Ive been sitting on marketplace and I kept seeing that sled and I was debating on picking it up for parts. I got a 96 ultra and I don't know a whole lot about them so extra parts are always a plus. But hell yeah I'm excited to see what you guys do with it!
I have a set of skis exactly like that, just not tore up. So they come from an RMK? Any idea of 'when'? I got mine with a 95 XLT parts sled. When I went to yank them out of the pickup I about threw them, had no idea they were aluminum. the skins look blue until you flip them over. They are purple on the bottom, just sun faded on the sides. They are on the Chicken Coop, as is the Trash Can!
