Thanks Alan, common sense as always. I recently took a friend of mine to Wickersley Angling to look at new tackle after He had a long break from fishing. Alans patience and knowledge and sound advice were well received. Thanks Alan good tackle, good price another satisfied customer.

What a great tip Alan! Using thicker elastic near the thin elastic. Game changer for me. Until this day I did knots over knots until it comes big enough.

I find fitting the puller bead first threading it through the section then using a diamond eye threader pushed down the ptfe bush and pulling the elastic back through is the easiest way. I stretch the elastic before fitting the connector. I then tension the elastic at the puller bead end.

I like the Stonfo threader, I really have problems with kinked up threader’s, I use a sewing needle threader so much cheaper than buying a diamond eye threader which eventually snap after pulling elastic through beads a few times, the other way round a two piece kit is thread the tip section first then push your diamond eye threader through the puller bush and up to the end then just pull the elastic back through the roller system, I was also shown a great tip by Tony at Baileys of Warwick how to thread elastic through a single F1 or power kit which is so simple. Ps; great tip about using a bit of heavier elastic with the bush, Rive make some great puller bushes that eliminates this problem though

Been adding a short length of thicker laccy to crows foot for years, (tip end too). If you have cut all tops to same length as cupping kit. Not looked at a zoom kit, yet but need to, as carp kits are so much longer than canal kits. Like the diamond eye winder/reel you used 🤔

I put a bead on elastic after puller bead. The bead sits inside puller bead

Best Ideas are always the simplest. Wonder how many people watch this and wonder what they've been doing.
