Nice to hear someone telling the truth no one should slag you off,I’m 76 and can go farther back than you but use Preston slip and good value,I still have a crook a when I show it people they have not a clue what it is

Used to fish no8 doubled up , got plenty of carp out but still soft enough for good skimmers, 👍

That middy hi viz is good solid elastic but I always come back to slip as it’s pre treated with slip lube and flows much better than the middy

Used the Blue 5 lots on the staff’s Worcester, great laccy if quick on moving pole when chub show up. Gets 90% out with that, before stepping up to yellow6 👍
