Knappen för den orangea drl ljuset styr bara den 2a utgången från XBB reläet. Reläet har 1 utgång på 15A och 1 på 5A. Och i XBB appen så la jag till knappen och tilldelade funktionen ON med 1 knapptryck, OFF med två knapptryck. Nackdelen var att jag inte kunde få någon indikering på när den var på / av.

I tried that a few days ago and with high beam on auto it turned on / off the LED bar as the “standard” high / low switched between. The LED bar did not seem to interfere. But when an oncoming car was ‘too far away’ it wouldn’t switch from high to low early enough. So i switched the auto mode off sometimes.

No it doesn’t. I don’t have the plus or pilot package on my P2.

Probably because: Sweden. Dark lots of hours in winter, lots of nature, you want lots of light.

How about reverse light? Would you know how to implement that as reverselight? Cause the reverselight on Polestar is poor. I’m buying a Polestar 2 next week and would drive from Norway to Sweden and pay for you to fix this. Please get back to me.

I tried to mount a small led light on the tow hook and wire it into the 13 pin connector for trailer, but that didn’t work. Somehow the car “knew” that I didn’t have like a trailer connected. And therefore never gave power to this light. I’m sure it’s possible but I didn’t figure out how to. I did install the front led with that XBB kit and that could turn on when the car is in reverse. So it’s possible to use that kit for a reverse light. So one option is to mount the lights on the roof, on roof bars. I don’t do installs but that’s where I’d put them.

Radar sensor doesn't appear to be blocked at all.

@@trevorv9035 I’d be slightly concerned about EM interference, not it being blocked in a traditional sense. The manufacturers go though EMI testing and this is not a massive amount of current, so I personally wouldn’t be to concerned… but the sensor an important piece of equipment.

Correct, no pilot package. But is the radar only part of the pilot package? Hard to find info on that. But the LED bar doesn’t go up in front of that part of the grill.

@@BasinBjorn You are definitely correct that the light bar is not blocking it. I believe all polestars have radar for the emergency braking. The pilot pack is mostly software (except for blind spot monitoring and a couple other little features)
