Right! I live in NY where they use those plate scanners. With technology the way it is you can’t drive without insurance and get away with it anymore. But here I see people getting away with it left and right. Plus at her age the insurance has gotta be dirt cheap. I’m 40 and mines like 70 bucks a month and the only reason it’s that high is because I’ve gotten popped for speeding to many times. Before that happened my insurance was 40 bucks a month.

It’s like literally half of Americans like 40 something percent don’t have car insurance lol

Actually they don’t always. I lapsed on insurance last year on a vehicle I inherited. My name was already on the policy as a secondary driver. I set up with them to do three months on autopay as I try to prepare to get the title in my name and sell. later they told me the financial institution rejected the set up but the insurance company never told me this. I had paid for the first month up front and they canceled 14 days after that. They claimed they mailed a notice to my relative’s house but I don’t believe it because the mail was being forwarded and everything else came. I never received an email or phone call although they had this information. I found out when I called them to renew the insurance. Then I had to call them again a few days after paying them because they hadn’t bothered to email me the POI. So glad to be done with them.
