I think so too. I’m not sure I understand what they’re doing there, just being pulled over to the side of the road like that, I mean. Usually, they would go into a shopping center or another parking lot to check permits (which is what I’m assuming they were doing), as I would guess that you would need a permit for something like that, where it’s probably in the same category as a parade or a funeral procession.

Even if it was a escot that is the worst spot to set up and do paperwork for a escort ride and the car and eslade made it worse your lane is free and open go even if it slowly don't just stop. I would think like most rides or escorts you check paper work and set up in a parking lot or trunk off but to each thier own. And to whatever was going on it more of a safety hazard then anything anyone with common sense won't want to come to a dead stop o a road with 35 or over speed limit by the time someone realizes you not slowing down but at a dead stop your screwed.

Love to hear you going through the gears and using the Jake's . You did a great job securing the generator . I see people that haul these smaller excavators and skidsteers and tractors and so on and don't even strap or chain them down . Stupid, I guess, cause if you have to hit your brakes hard to stop really fast, watch out . Take care and stay safe out there on the highway . 🤗👍💫

It's been awhile since I've seen a video with anyone using the old style cam binders. Everybody seems to favor the newer ratchet binders these days. That's some old school stuff. I still have about a dozen cam binders in my shop.

Most state troopers support bikers when on charity runs. If you notify the troopers in advance of the run sometimes they will send a pair of bikes to escort the run. If they do not show for the ride we were also informed by the troopers when proceeding when clear at intersections to have a blocker in the intersection and treat the group as one vehicle. That way it reduces the risk of the riders getting hit.

My Dad used to drive one like this. Awful noisy smelly thing, suspension iffy, had a raging headache in it after five minutes. My son has a modern one, quiet, smooth, a pleasure to be a passenger in, l knw which l prefer!

Does Orwell have power steering? How about A/C? I'm new to your channel. It looks like it's a bit hard to steer unless you're moving. I still love the sound of that Cat engine in Orwell. You really could record and sell that semi noise to people who do foley work for movies.

The thing is it's not necessary right now due to factors: - He has 2/60 Air right now (2 windows open, 60 mph) 😋 - Time to replace/rebuild and recharge system is precious little for Steve - Wouldn't help when off the clock (A/C is only while engine's on. Doesn't have APU (Aux. Power Unit) to run bunk heater or A/C without having to run the engine all the time - Other maintenance items are higher priority - Needs to be making money since he had to take time off for family problems so it's on the back burner.

Hey Steve, I've always wondered about your Jakes. I know it's Two Stage, but I never see you use Stage One. Is there a reason why, and follow up: When would you use the First Stage ideally instead of just going full Second Stage?

Good show, maybe the PD's all over the country are wising up and checking for MC endorsements on license's. Ive ridden since 1973, had my endorsement grandfathered in, never had to take safety course. i was a service mgr also for a cycle shop. but when i worked there i knew many guys that never got an endorsement, they said F'it and just rode out of my shop after purchasing. so i guess maybe they (the police) wised up. there's probably a lot of easy picking out there.

They confuse a lot of people by pulling people over then Expect everyone to move over THEN everyone gets jammed up in the next lane over. People need to understand DON'T MOVE OVER IF YOU ARE GOING TO CUT SOMEONE OFF. IF SOMEONE CANNOT MOVE OVER, YOU HAVE TO YIELD OR STOP.

They are actually quite organized. Most even run the route in the early AM in cars to sweep stones off of corners and check for hazards. There was another smaller group running ahead of them about 5 miles before I saw this. A different group, or ones who figured you can't pull over everyone.

Don't understand why when the first bike pulled over the rest didn't just keep going leaving the cop to decide which he wanted more if he keeps going after the group just have one pull over every 1/2 mile if he doesn't stop behind you then assume he's going after someone else no way one cop can physically pull everyone over if they get shity you may end up sleeping in county but any public pretender can squash the fleeing ticket there's plenty of room for doubt who he's attempting to pullover

I hear some gears shifting and some Jake breaking going on... Kinda makes me miss OTR.... But more glad I ain't. Between DOT, Police, weight Scales. Lot lizards 🦎 drug dealers running around. Dispatch on your Ass, shippers and receivers .....and all the hurry up and wait. Truck stop food. Nasty bathrooms, poor treatment....shy high fuel bills 6.50 to 7.10 a gallon....at 150 to 250 fill ups. A man can't hardly make a living anymore.. My grandpa was making by today's standards about 3 500 a week take home in 1980.... So today take home is 400 to 1200 at best and when you figure in information. Currently at 21% not the make believe 6 ot 7% With about 1/3 of owners and companies going bankrupt... Another 1/3 barely hanging on.... Soon folks won't have to worry about a shortage....they will have to worry about anything being gn the shelves... God bless you my Brother Hand. FYI...lot of people including myself, have found out that the mask works great for allergies, it's no longer just for covid19 😷 I'm able to breathe so much better in the spring pollen 🤧

I use a mask while mowing the lawn , sanding , if I have the flu , allergies are hard to deal with

Maybe because you're using the.mask as it was intended. It wasn't to stop a virus as it was lied about .I've used them in DEMOLITION for dust so don't try to cloud the issue by OMISSION

Dude!!... People wear a mask and don't feel like taking it off and putting it back on any time someone gets close... It's Common Sense to just leave it on and not bother with it.
