Last night I arrived at the scene of a standoff between a man in a 2 door Mercedes-Benz & the Santa Monica Police on Ocean Ave near Colorado Ave. half a block north from the Santa Monica Pier at 9:33 PM. I was able to video & get pictures of the incident until 10:57 PM. There are videos of him smoking a cigarette & a close up of him from the driver side window. At 10:45 a drone was in the sky. The police decided to not pursue him any longer. However the man in the Mercedes-Benz returned to scene at 10:54 PM.
