@@CassidyPresley-o2k I demand an updated election method that lets me vote using the new online environment instead of losing time and money going at a specific, over-crowded, poorly managed place to go and vote. Allow online voting please, More people will vote as a result as well.
The Dental Plan and Pharmacare are all based on borrowed money. Taxpayers will be paying yearly interest on this borrowed money for the rest of their lives. This will result in higher taxes
We don't pick a doctor based on whether they have nice things to say, we pick the one we think will make us well. We should pick politicians the same way.
Someone please tell me how paying a government money, fights climate change? Everyone still needs heat, power, and gas. The facts say canada hasn't reduced its carbon footprint since this tax.
I wish Pierre would propose his substitution to the carbon tax policy. I won't vote for the party until I hear something other than axing the tax. It's only half the solution, and I need to hear what he plans to do afterwards.
@@alexvandenheuvel4757 easy , he will go fix the earth cycle that has been going on for a few million years as well as strighten the sun a bit , because these are the scientific factors that affecs the climate which is changing all the time since the creation.
What are you plans regarding carbon policy??? Everyone is looking to government to solve their problems. How about taking some initiative. Do you drive an EV? Do you have a heat pump?@@alexvandenheuvel4757
Funny, Trudeaus talking point is taxing people for zero actual reason.. paying for something that doesn't work is amazing, then we have people like commenters here saying, I wanna see others show how they can implement change.. yet 1000 scientists says non of this will work lol this is the only way the liberals can give more money to others.
If you haven't already, dig up info about the recent rcmp report forecasting the prospect of civil unrest. That's where we're at circa 2024. According to the rcmp, at least.
What can Canadians expect from the 2024 federal budget ? - A federal debt of $1.22 TRILLION with $48 BILLION in annual debt servicing costs , which is more than 10% of all federal government revenues - The Bank of Canada to print more money to pay for the budget deficit - More lies from Trudeau , Freeland and the CBC . - More money for Ukraine - Missing money from the budget .
We have water..we have great weather..we have lots of choices to make...we have farmers to.give us good food..we have lots of jobs if you want to work..free dental.for seniors..odsp...etc
@@SemiPerfectDarkis that a possibility? You can’t just move anywhere in the world you want. Immigrants are leaving because it unaffordable here. If that isn’t a giant red flag I don’t know what is.
so you call healthcare dental Pharmacare and child care bs. i hope you never get sick or need dental care and that young people your related too don't have kids and need child care.that would normally be unafordable.
@rickystarduster: LOL you think those are some big favours from the Feds? That’s what our tax dollars are intended for! Not lining the pockets of GC strategies or going to other countries wars. What exactly are you talking about?
@@Lickymaballs If you read the programs, chikd care, dental care, pharmacare you will find they benefit a extreme "minority" of Canadians while the underfunding the legacy health care program benefits "everyone." Yes I hope you don't get sick!
thats the legacy of canadian politicians of all political parties look at mulroney he brought in the gst and borrowed a bunch of money when he was in office and he was a conservative.
More debt. There's nothing like paying over 50 billion a year on interest payments. That's over 3 thousand dollars per household. Pay that off and give us are 3 thousand dollars a year back.
It's funny. I've been seeing a lot of clips with Trudeau borderline screaming in the house of commons, because it seems like his handlers have suggested to switch his tone to be more confrontational.. so, 1, he's coming off as the "angry" one, and 2, it's not even authentic. Classic Trudeau.
The Lieberals (not a typo), think they need to control everything. Housing should be a free market only. Gov should not control it. That leads to very high prices and restricted supply because of all the regulation.
I don't think the intense messaging will hurt him because he stands by what he says and at least you can respect that. He takes a position and does not waiver. It's like the saying goes, if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything, and that is our current PM he stands for nothing and tries to play all sides and is divisive. No one can feel fully respected under his leadership. Im a woman, and i will be choosing a man who can lead. The current PM is flakey and shys away from anything hard. He can barely form a firm opinion until days later. Its pathetic.
The Liberals have had three terms. But Canada now has way too many problems. Our Military is understaffed and under equipped. Our housing is too expensive as is our vehicles our food and our gasoline. Our Politicians need to work as a team to solve these problems until the next election. Picking on each other is not the way to go. We all have our opinions and that is mine.
Can we go one step further in the next election? Not only axe the carbon tax but axe the CO2 /climate change policies & get back to fighting real pollution & bring back hope & common sense to Canada. Let us be an example to other parts of the world that are under a similar yoke as we are under our present government! People owe it to themselves to hear the truth. A good start is to watch “Climate:The Movie”.
as a general liberal person, i find canada's liberal party full of crap, they present themselves really well, they say the right thing all the time. But words and actions are not the same.. They only know how to do the talk, but not the walk. Urgh, our NDP is also crap, if we have a strong NDP, and if NDP really do have a shot, i'll go all in for NDP.... But similar to the US, we really only have 2 options... how unfortunate... But just because im not a trudeau fan, doesnt mean ill vote for the conservative, so lets get that right also. Ill prob just be like the americans, sitting this out, or just vote for NDP and waste my vote
That's my problem too, I'm generally reside in the political centre, and I can't stand the current political leaders of all the political parties, and feel I don't have a political home with this line up. None of them have any real plan for these interesting times.
there are a bunch of new parties you should look at such as the canada unity party and the maverick party and others do some research and maybe we can have a change in this country
@@leslieross9729oh yes pp for more taxes all he will do is raise other taxes or replace the carbon tax with something else its in the conservative playbook. learn some political history in canada and you will see why you shouldn't vote for conservatives or liberals and vote for one of the newer parties such as the canada unity party or the mavierick party or one of the other new parties stop being a sheep.
Canada emissions 1.5% Reduction target 40% by 2030 Current reduction 30% Carb tax accts less than 10% of the 30% reduction There are 80 carbon reduction programs in place, the tax is only one or 0.003% 3/1000th of global emmissions
Too bad the cbc doesnt work for or represent Canadians. This show is just pr for the liberal party. Itll be nice when the cbc has to work for their funding instead of having it funneled to them.
Trudeau's smile always reminds me of my cousin's smile when he smoked weeds and think that he is smart. Trudeau had the exact same smile when in 2020 while printing money he answered to a journalist that Canada was not afraid to take debts since interest rates were at historic lows.
Hahaha the carbon tax is on all the time every minute of every day, and it keeps goin up every year, so I’d like the liberal gods to plz tell us peasants who can’t afford to eat everyday how’s a good way to eat once every 3 months when my huge rebate cheque comes in and I can by 3 bags of groceries?

Yes I agree with the panel. PP is wayyyyy too aggressive. I like lying, cheating, robbing, deceitful PM Trudeau. He talks so much nicer even though he is totally useless.
I don’t know what to say, this is basically like sport analyst trying to figure out what voters like and players mentality and health plus performance.
After 8 years of absolute mismanagement and progressive posturing, I would welcome with open arms a leader like PP who is direct in his approach. Watching the Liberal and NDP reps talk, just shows how out of touch both parties are with both reality and what Canadians want.
😂😂😂😂❤it. 1.2 Trillion and rising for national debt spent on consumption calling it “investment”. GDP has fallen. Hiring thousands of public servants and billions spent on consultants doesn’t make GDP. Taxes are not GDP unless you are the LNDP government 😂😂😂😂 election coming. Thank the Lord.
The next election Mr pierre poilievre will be Canadian prime Minister Canadian want the truth Trudeau need to go live in Ukraine he loves ❤️ Ukraine 🇺🇦
Do they have the right messenger?!! Don’t bother bringing me crap and tell me it’s filet mignon. I don’t care what they say. It’s what you do. If you can’t fix the problem get out of the way.
I suspect that the budget will continue to screw hard working average Canadians as they usually do. I expect our warmonger pm will waste our tax dollars and pay it out to war contractors.
Is it really really that bad and worse than the US likes everyone i know and on the streets and stores i hear people saying Canada is doing better than the US
In what way? Housing? USA average 430K. Canada 780k. Price of gas/gallon. USA average $3,55, Canada $7.48, And everyone in Canada gets told they make more money than the US? The average monthly income in Canada is $4200 USD. In the US the average is $5900 USD. So is it really really that bad" is it really really that bad to earn less and pay almost double for your house and gas to get to work to pay for said house? And Food is cheaper in the US too, so...yes, it's really, really that bad, and that's all thanks to Liberal policy. Not the Russians, not Steven Harper, not the pandemic. It's Justin Trudeau and the Liberals fault.
the ides of unity is great bringing people together but those tones only work when the country is not dyeing slowly as we are now, so no i dont care about unity fix the tax's fix the budget fix inflation then we worry about unity.
