People judge debates in different ways. Some people judge on charisma, likeability, the way information is delivered, presentation, etc. All things which are important. However, other people judge purely on the information coming out of the person's mouth. If he is, it's easy to prove that. Just have him do open question sessions of, say, 30 minutes or so with reporters several times. No prescreening or limiting of questions though. That would tell the tale. If they don't do that, then I don't trust them, and I think Biden also likely fails to impress in the Sept. debate, and then Trump wins. Since they haven't done that since Feb, I'm not optimistic, but hopeful this would show something. That's a disaster (yes, I'm completely anti-Trump). I still think they'll do something in a week or two. You can only pretend like everything's fine just with a teleprompter for so long.

Debates don’t matter. A week from now, nobody will remember or care who won and who lost. Hillary beat Trump 3 times in 2016 and lost the election. Mondale completely whipped Reagan in 1984 and lost 49 states in the election. Debates are not a predictor of who will win in November.
