'God help us': John Kelly issues scathing statement on Trump 

My father was a B-17 bomber pilot who held his burning plane steady until all of his crew had bailed out before bailing out himself. He and his crew were all captured by the SS. and spent the last 9 months of the war in a POW camp in Barth on the Baltic in Germany. He and two others escaped from the liberating Russians who were no longer our allies at that point. The memoir that he finally wrote is horrifying. He suffered from undiagnosed, untreated PTSD and survivors guilt right up until he died at age 92. I have never in my life hated anyone like I hate the subhuman who called McCain and Bush Sr, and would have called my father a loser.

Why on earth would any veterans support Trump?

I don’t understand how decent, sane people can follow and vote for such a person. A person so cruel to veterans and other humans, who served his country in order for him to have the life he has, but don’t deserve.

As a veteran, I find the disrespect for our vets disgusting and shameful.

For the sake of our country, these men should have spoken the truth sooner

I only served 3 years in the Army did my time and got out honorably. You can’t say nothing bad about another soldier that wore the uniform for 40 years especially when you wimp out on a bogus medical problem. I respect veterans for being veterans that served are country honorably.

From the U.K. I've always been aware as a Brit, who has lived in freedom and democracy, which I admit isn't perfect, that this is largely because of Britain's American allies during WW2. My heart go's out to those young Americans, who died on the beaches of Normandy and in other theatres. I find it almost unbelievable that your country's President wouldn't respect these brave men who gave their lives to prevent the Fascists taking over Europe. I haven't always agreed with American policies, but I will be forever grateful to the sacrifices Americans made, which allowed me to live a life of freedom. My concern now, is I see your great country slipping towards fascism. Democracy, freedom and a responsible and independent judiciary are the greatests gifts a nation can have. America, you are not without fault, but please, for your own sake and that of the free world, don't vote in a dictator, who would take these rights from you.

I'm a citizen of the greatest country in the world (today). I am former military. I served under both presidents I liked, one that I loved, and others that I tolerated. But always with respect, because that is what is expected with your Commander and Chief. This video had me for quite awhile, rethinking President Trump (and, if you don't like the way I put that, President before the name of anyone who has ever held office is deserved). I thought this video would go further than it did to make me rethink my position. It bent me, but did not break me. Because I DO NOT LIKE either candidate. Why are we so stupid to accept this?!?!?!?! You want Biden, therefore nobody, to win? He is not in charge. You don't want Trump to win? Then the Republican Party should put up a viable candidate! My father was also a B-17 pilot, who held his shot-up, burning plane steady so his crew could bail out safely. About 15 seconds after he bailed out, his plane blew up. He had German luftwaffe fighters shooting at him as he drifted down in his parachute and he was also captured shortly after he landed by the SS. He spent 18 months in a POW camp near Barth (Stalag Luft 1). He also fled after first being liberated by the Russians and made their way back to the American lines. During that trek, he came across a political POW camp with gas chambers, etc. He was so overwhelmed at how human beings could treat their fellow human beings like this and he never got over what he saw, especially in that camp. He to suffered from undiagnosed and untreated PTSD until the day that he died, at the young age of 66. I despise Donald Trump and everything he stands for. The bone spur pansy has no idea of what people went through to protect our Democracy and fight for his right to free speech. For any American to make these disparaging remarks about our service men is truly despicable but when the President of the United States makes these remarks, it is unforgivable and something every American should consider, when casting their ballots when voting!

I was a street musician. The Italian People made sure I was never hungry or short of money.Invited into their homes to eat and drink, chat and laugh, what a great time I had!!
