Your videos brighten my day‼️My hubby and I had planned to RV it around the country after retirement. He was killed in auto crash 32 yrs ago. Seeing your videos have reminded me of those plans and brought all those memories back. Thanks for sharing. Living vicariously thru you! Hugs 🤗
Oh wow. You just never know what life is going to hand you, do you? We are so happy you are part of our Vagabond Family. Would love to meet up with you someday. Hugs! 🤗❤️
Carey On Vagabond Retiring next year. Plan is to act on those memories. I have fallen in love with the Travato. Maybe I will see you on the road someday! If you come through Spokane please let me know. 👍🏻
Finally got around to watching this. Life sometimes takes too much of your time. Anyways, we were so thrilled to meet all three of you and it's certainly a highlight of of year! When our daughter leaves for college, we're buying our rig and hopefully meet you on the road! Awesome and safe journeys! Carey On!
Irene, I had the exact same idea as you for the full size Zion...permanent bed, using the rest for more storage. That would be perfect for full-timing! You've got that connection with RT now...get them working on that, huh! lol! :-)
A great way to start a Friday morning, watching the Carey's on the couch with my pup and coffee. Pistol looked most excellent in that shirt. Have a great time at JT and thanks for sharing.
Wade Taylor Thanks Wade! What a pleasant surprise that chocolate was! We love good dark chocolate and that was some of the best we’ve ever had! Pistol hasn’t had her treat yet but when she does it will be on video😳 Thanks again!
@@CareyOnVagabond The chocolate was my lovely wife's idea. Dark chocolate is the only way to go in our book. It was good to see you wearing a glove while changing the bulb😁. We are guessing Pistol was still in bed at 4am, I would have been Carry on.
Um yeah, dark chocolate all the way! I need more! 👅😬Pistol was absolutely still in bed. She didn’t get up for another hour or so. Still too early in my book!
My husband and I were going to be there but children happen. Lol!! But I am glad we missed the rain. Perhaps one day we will meet to say how do you do!! Safe travels!! 🚐😊
Excellent HOW TO...as I understand from reading other comments, the headlights needing to be changed out on the Promaster is a weak spot in their design and the lights need to be changed out more often than desired. Morning or middle of night is obviously a personal perception... Thank you for sharing and enjoy your family meet up.
YAYYY...tool-time with Dave 👏🏻 Kinda yucky at this years RV show eh? Last years event was so sunny cheerie & HOT! I think it was so cool that Roadtrek provided you with your very own booth for meet & greets! I have no doubts that you represented the company very well! Im not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but Pistol emailed me a couple of days ago, and she was barking about how she would love to have her own travel trailer! May I suggest the CASITA 12 footer - Im certain it would meet all of her creature comfort requirements 🤪🤣 Always my best to you three 👍👌😎✌🏻
That darn Pistol! I know she would like her own trailer, but she only wants it for her wardrobe, bones and toys. Unless Mama is back there for her to lay on she would rather be up front in the action. 😂😬🐶
Quick burn outs seem to be common on the Promaters. I've read that the LED versions of the bulbs last a lot longer (expensive, but save you the cumbersome replacement process). Cheers! www.xenonhids.com/h7-single-beam-led-headlight-kit.html
Great job on the headlight install! Showing how to reinstall immediately after removing the pieces is almost always omitted from this kind of videos and yet this is how mechanics ensure they can put things back together properly. Using disposable gloves to handle the bulb was the right idea also as oil from your fingers transferred to the bulb can shorten the bulb life. Sometimes shortened bulb life can be fixed by placing dielectric grease the prongs where it is inserted into the plug as it prevents moisture from penetrating the contacts. Sometimes shortened bulb life can be a voltage regulator problem. As a side note if you ever see a hybrid Toyota taxi rarely do they have both headlights working. They burn out all the time. Probably a function of the dual voltage system used to run and charge the batteries hence a voltage regulation issue is my thought. One way to fix the problem of burnt out bulbs if it becomes much more prevalent is to replace the halogen bulbs with led's. In the past, these kind of upgrades( xenon kits) were horrible as they changed the focal point of the light leading to throwing light right into the eyes of oncoming drivers. This has been fixed on most led upgrade kits by making the brand specific. Of course, like most LEDs they last much much longer than the old tech bulbs.
Lost Comma Thank you! I couldn’t find Much to help me when I changed the left one last year. Thanks for the info on newer LED’s. I had tried them on some motorcycles years ago with poor results.
Darth Vader I hear it’s a thing too😁 We are not really sure where we Will be in January. If we are in the area it might be something we would check out. We were just talking tonight about flipping a coin to see which way we should go tomorrow😂😂
If I remember right Richie got the kitchen and Potsie got the bath room and had to use the window to get in and out and they shared the couch. Dam I'm old....
James Frazier Thanks James! Thanks for being on our journey! Send us a Private Message on Facebook with your address and we will mail you one! We can do email if you don’t have Facebook.
Great video as usual . Too bad you didn't have anyone to tell you that if you're heading East in the morning there is no rush hour traffic . You could have slept in .
@@CareyOnVagabond I should add that since the weather is so nice in SoCal , that much of the maintenance done on our freeways is done over night and doesn't conclude until 5 a.m. . All's well that ends well. Happy Trails .
WHEEEEE!! cool. that bug screen isn't as good as Pleasure-Ways. WKRP LOVED THAT SHOW lolol. AWWWWW meet the Careys I DID!! dang cool. I like speeded up Dave repair LOL. Great instruction Dave, AND don't touch the bulb, gloves, good one. that IS way too early DANG. that is a crowded park, not like your wonderful lake side free spots. avoid these parks, wow
