Fist bumps 👊👊👊👊👊, high fives/pats on the back ✋✋✋✋✋, extra thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍 Pets ❤❤❤❤❤, treats and tummy rubs. Was hoping the next one would be a houseboat.
im having deja-vu lol. i like your original setup with rear offset barrels. the 12' craft i made with 8 barrels was VERY buoyant. it sat on the water instead of in the water lol.
You may be having deja-vu, but this will be a first watch for many viewers. I like how it is all in one episode. These guy are really buoyant and thanks for watching.
Excellent demonstration of yr project. At the botyom side squize due to water pressure. How to over come this problem, can we get some idea on it from u pls.
wow. there's a blast from the past.....MONTGOMERY WARD Sea King boat. Monkey Ward went out of business in 2000. Apparently. was resurrected in 2004 as an online store only. I'm old.
I was thinking about a tri- toon. Using 30 gallon barrels 2,2,and 2. Using aluminum tubing for the frame. Ending with a 1-2 man boat that would pin together with quick pins. Nice boat you have.
That is what some one called build #1 and I said "No, I don't think so..." I might call it "monkey hunter". We have a place here called Silver Springs and they have actual real live monkeys there. My goal is to take this boat 5 miles up the silver river to find these monkeys. I will let you know when it happens and if the name sticks. thanks for watching.
I would like to see you 5 barrels on each side this way you will have plenty of length for the growing family and you can make it a try Hull if you run some down the middle for storage
I hope you have seen my new build, it is bigger and better than my first build. That video has been out about a week or 2. When you build yours, I hope you will post pictures on facebooks "homemade barrel boats" and thanks for watching.
That is funny, I was just talking about that in my Chewy van video... The van took that engine, maybe some other will come along and land on the boat. That would be cool. Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 thanks for responding I'm building one myself. I'm in oregon their rules for homemade boats are a little more stringent. Thank you for your videos they are very informative.
I found mine from a guy on facebook marketplace. He deals in barrels and sold them to me for $10 each and the 10th was free. Good luck and thanks for watching.
On build #2, I have about $350 in just the boat build. The trailer was $200 and one of the homemade kickers was $90. I also spent $32.25 on registration. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.
I have bought some of the lumber and the barrels, but other projects have been getting in the way... I will get on it soon. Thanks for asking and for watching.
Hey chud I am following this and when you go to make the water deflectors for the front please , please, please make a good detailed video so I can make some for my rebuild...
I will try to make it more detailed than last time and keep following, I know I have been following your build. Thanks so much and thanks for watching.
The first one I sold for $500 just so I could start my second build. I need to sell the second to start my third build, but it would come with a trailer and I would be asking more. I would mind building them from scratch for people and charge pretty much what ever the lumber cost. Example $500 for material and $500 for labor would be a $1000 boat. Or something like that give or take. Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 ya man, when you get really big dont forget about some of us, id like to say in touch chud. I enjoy hearing from you and Channels only grow faster and faster at this point. Maybe it'll be a full time gig soon
@@roxastherogue Not by choice, but I am doing it full time now already. I got fired last year from teaching and they won't even tell me why. Maybe if this keep growing and my patreon page take off, I will be aok. Thanks for the reply.
I spent about $350 on just the boat part, plus did some add ons after completing. The trailer was $200, one boat motor was $400 and the other homemade boat motor was $90. However, the price up lumber has skyrocketed lately and my prices would have been much higher if build today. Thanks for watching.
@@steadyfishing3613 no sweat, I do want to go harder on this and hopefully it will be easier doing it for a second time. I have to get past these daily storms so that I can get started. Thanks for watching.
Well the dude already has it pully swapped and motor swapped it has something like a 23 hp Briggs on it but it doesn’t come with tires to I’m gonna probably weld some mower rims to atv rims and just run atv tires welding the rims will be my first mod
There are none. They say to take it slow around manatees, my boat is the definition of slow. They should have time to get out of my way. thanks so much for watching.
