Good to see you back from your illness. You're clearly a hard working guy and are passionate about what you are doing. Your videos are great and informative. Thanks for your efforts and keep up the good work.
Mike good to hear you have picked up pool!! If you keep this kind of dedication (4hrs practice a day is WOW) and keep watching Sharivari's videos, plus do his drills and really listen deeply to all the tips and hints he's giving you, you are bound to see serious progress! Don't underestimate videos about technique, stance and stroke, stay motivated, don't rush anything and soon you will be able to kick ass in pool ;) Good luck with your journey buddy))
@@jaroslavcech225 I see how far I can go with a project for 90 days then I move to the next project. I have finished 2 bucket lists doing that. Learning about Pool is on my 3rd bucket list after Pool I'll work on saxophone.
@@mikehess4494 That sounds good man! How long have you been doing this then? Are you using this way to find a new hobby, or do you just want to get some general skills in many different things? (Obviously, you should stick to pool though, as it has all you need to be happy with a hobby - element of luck, skill needed, visually effective, the balls hitting the pocket sound great, competitive side, cool activity for a date :D )
@@jaroslavcech225 My 1st bucket list was completed in 5 years. It was suppose to last till my 70's...Did Skydiving, Mountain climbing, Karate, Playing Bass, Guitar and Keyboard, Flying a plane did Bikrams yoga, 10 different languages. ect ect...Pool is something I currently do at Smokerings Merritt Island Florida while enjoying a beer and a cigar or two...I'm 56 now with 5 kids all moved out and currently 5 grandkids.
Mr Sharivari thanks i have improved a little bit bcoz of your tip of stable elbow now I can pocket some unbelievable shorts let me carefully learn somemore from you thanks
Hi Sharivari,You made this clip almost exactly one year ago. I really liked it the first time I watched it and ive watched it several more times since. What your showing is a calm and thoughtful preshot routine and a acurate deliberate setup. Then you highlight your pre shot strokes , focusing on the last finish stroke where youset the tip exactly where you want to strike the cue ball and then with a rhythmic slow and purposeful backstroke you come back pause and then Push the cue forward in a straight line allowing the inertia of the stroke to accelerate and flow om through contact noting that your followthrough was apprpx the same length as your backstro ke and while staying still and staying down the entire shotmaking motion it is done in a smooth rythmic fashiom. THATS Where I get so much value! By you going through your thinking and then demonstrating how that looks I am delivered the entire pool stroke in a proper cadence and with the type of calm mindful temperment that is the whole package of a very good player! This is how they navigate the felt. It is how Inwant to navigate the felt. Your lessons keep om adding to the strength of my stroke and my conceptv asca player...To absorb these things and create an image in your mind with this rythmic smooth mexhanical motion is afantastic perception fpr players to have in their heads about themselves!!. I would love to see other lessons where you break it down in a simalar fashion . I love working on the Stroke. In Rhythm. Thanks My Man! Dexter
As always, a great lesson. One thing I miss from your videos is this, when you talk about putting English on your shoots could you explain where you are aiming when using that English. Hitting ball thicker or thinner. Cheating the pocket one way or the other. That sort of thing. Great videos, and alway look forward to your next one. Cheers and get well.
Thank you for another outstanding video. Very easy to follow and understand. I can't afford the other channel, but I do really enjoy the quality of these videos.
Great video! While viewing this video, it occurred to me that you were actually making your point (albeit, not intentionally) that you should concentrate on your fundamentals while practicing. Every time that you were talking to the viewers, you weren't 100% into the shot in front of you. You had to keep regrouping, before the shot. Again, great video!
Thank you for all your help u taught me things I forgot and things I would double guss my self on now I just have to practice and work my way tonthe top
Nobody's perfect but surely you're better than me ))) Quick question, when you do english / side spin, do you pivot your cue from the center of the cue ball or parallel to the center of the cue ball? Nice video. Thanks.
I often do simple long straight pots to work on my stroke. This drill will be a nice follow-up and less monotone. :) Regarding the timing I always wonder if SvB does something special there. It's hard to tell, but to me it looks like he is decelerating just *before* hitting the cue ball. How do you think about it? What about a comparison of different stroke styles?
I know... strange question. Since I know you use Aramith balls I'll ask you. Are the stripped balls stripes quartered correctly like centennial balls. If you take one solid ball and put two stripe balls side by side next to it are the straps the same width as the solid ball they are next too?
Please do a video on keeping the pool ball on table during an 8 ball break. I have a great break but here recently I have come down with this disease in which I send cue balls to far off places via air mail every damn time I break. Please help!
S you have a killer stroke and you make it look easy but I notice you have a very long bridge is this something that’s unique to your game or is it more common with European players in general. Get well and keep the videos coming
your arm position is just about perfect. you must have trouble because you are so tall. i also noticed you stay down in your shot. earlier videos you used to jump. id suggest you do some stroke drills.
Hi sharivari, hope you are doing gread. Well ive playin pool for almost 10 years but im still not happy with my game. i miss stupid balls mainly the straigh long distance ones and its frustating me alot. need your hhelp plz.
Don’t you loose muscle memory created by the practice strokes, by pausing before you shoot? You aim during the first two or three practice strokes. Then you lift your eyes to the object ball, continue a stroke or two, the shoot. When you pause, you brain has to re-aim. Try dropping the pause from your routine and see if you improve.
