This pool lesson is aimed to help you understanding how the cueball moves on the table. We will learn how the cueball reacts after you hit an object ball with an angle. This is essentially to understand and predict the cueball path.

There are **alot** of people out there teaching pool, but I've gotta say man, you are very very good... Not only in your abilities & knowledge, but also how you execute your videos as well. Great job Brother, keep it up.

Love the way this guy instructs. To the point. Great graphics, intelligent commentary. Makes sense, uses simple terms with good examples. By far he is better than most who feel they HAVE to pass on their own learning. Up there with Dr Dave. Keep it simple as possible whilst still getting their point over.BIG TICK from me.😁

I watch a ton of instructional pool videos, and Sharivari is by far the best. There are a few whose videos are right up there with him, but I enjoy his the most, and I've learned so much from watching them.

A little hint: Depending on the angle you have on the one-ball, you may have to adjust your speed and hit a little lower / higher on the cueball. I can't explain all these little details in this video. Thats where you have to take action and just trial and error. Enjoy your lesson!

Great tutorial sir. i have seen a lot of video tutorials in pool, but the clarity of your intructions and graphical representation were superb - where will you hit the cueball and the speed are very important. please continue making videos or just run out with couple of racks just by indicating where to hit the cue ball and at what speed, i learn a lot just by that. thank you! 😂

Great video! Just one thing, at 5:44, the image of the spin on the Cue Ball shows Right Spin, when I guess it’s actually Left Spin (and also, you say left spin). But yes, thanks for the amazing videos, cheers!

i was testing out the fiirst shot alot and found that you can get position on the 2 ball by doing an extreme draw shot with right hand english after a few tries it was working consistantly

Hello, If you are looking at the white ball, the shot is outside not inside. In the video is inside, please check the example of the cue ball, this is the opposite (mirror).
@khack411

I think the same. It’s outside….cutting to right with left is outside isn’t it???

When playing in APA (as I do), it might not be advantageous to sink the 9 ball early in the rack, because you could wind up leaving many points on the table, whereas sinking the 9 ball will only get you 2 points and leave the remaining balls dead. I understand that by sinking the nine allows you to keep the break, but in most cases, to me, it's worth it to accumulate as many points possible before going for the nine. Cheers!

Sharivari- great vid but you got the sidespin wrong I think. On your cueball graphic you’re putting left hand side on it, but you’re actually putting right hand side spin on cueball.

I love your videos. I have a question about the cueball that you have in the upper right hand corner of your videos. It looks like where you show the contact point is from your perspective, is this right? I would think it would be better to show the contact point from our perspective (as if we were the shooter). Thanks again for these great videos Sharivari!
@Sharivari
@Sharivari 5 лет назад
Thanks a lot! I am actually showing where I hit the cueball from the shooters view and not from the camera angle :) Or did I confuse it on some shots?
@oodeeps
@oodeeps 5 лет назад
I thought that was what you were doing. It just looked like sometimes you were hitting on the opposite side of the ball. Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for your quick reply. I appreciate it.

Are you adjusting for throw, or just able to make it negligible?
@Sharivari
@Sharivari 5 лет назад
No. When playing shots like these I am just aiming automatically and do not have to think about throw and deflection anymore.
@TheJurgisRud
@TheJurgisRud 5 лет назад
Something to note here. When you use outside english on this shot, there will of course be a throw effect on the object ball. This will also slightly change the tangent line because you are cutting the one ball slightly less because the throw sends it toward the pocket, and this actually helps you miss the 9 ball because of the modified tangent line.
@Sharivari
@Sharivari 5 лет назад
Great observation! I used this advantage of throw in the video about "When To Use Spin And Draw", too.

Umm the problem is that sometimes I don't get the shot at all when I play at the Botton of the cue ball in that same straight line just like how your cue ball was to make the one ball I does miss the shot like 90% out of 100

@Sharivari
@Sharivari 5 лет назад
Yes. I marked the wrong spot on the cueball. Should be right (inside) english.
@johnpendleton2227
@johnpendleton2227 5 лет назад
You are correct Dominique S. I was always taught that "outside" spin (English) is the side that is toward the greater angle of the alignment, and "inside" spin is the side toward the smaller angle. This applies regardless of whether the spin is "left" or"right".
