I'm convinced there's a rule that states "Selected Course _MUST BE_ surrounded by trees, moving vehicles, or anything dangerous to the TT02. Bonus points for dense forest or water." ... Or "Any opportunity to avert disaster is a disqualifying event." You boys having fun is intoxicating.

It kind of takes the fun out of it if your running on a smooth flat open car park with nothing to crash into don't ya think? OMG!!!! That didn't go so well, did it guys?!?!?! Well apart from Yoda's PB!!! How the hell you even got near that speed on that road is beyond me! Good call from Taylor - "Let's get out of here!!!" You guys need to but some turnbuckle steering arms on that thing, you can easily make them from a few spare parts (shock bottom ball joints and a 3mm screw with the head cut of will do the trick!) and that will at least sort the tracking out. But hey, it was a hell of a show, all the same - loving your mascot!!!! Fingers crossed you get the car sorted and find a good space for one last hurrah!!! 🤞🤞😎😎👍👍
Didn't go so well?? Really? 😂 🤣 💩 It was a total abortion of a run mate, but in the true spirit of keeping it real we posted it anyway fella!. Besides, I managed to beat Taylors P. B..... he's been getting way too big headed over that one, and deserved to be de throned! 🤣 😂 Great idea with the turn buckles mate, in hindsight that should have been one of the first upgrades we done. Sadly time is not on our side now, I'm working until very late today and our final run is tomorrow night, non of the new parts have arrived yet either! So, we are just going to have to find a location that doesn't involve going in a straight line and just hope for the best!! I'm still determined to pass Pete Wylies 51mph,and the level of competition between myself and Taylor is getting intense!! I think Taylor made the right call, that wasn't a good location... I guess the UK is so densely populated it's difficult to find a remote enough location but with adequate surface... I'm out to try tonight also, see if I can manage to crack that 50 mph damned speed barrier, ha ha... Keep at it guys!

I think the whole thing with on-road cars is to keep them on the road guys! LOL! You got more mud on that thing than some of my buggies after a track run! Shame it had the wonky steering, it is not the easiest thing to control in the first place and add on a bit of one sided controls and it is amazing you held onto it for that long! Great speeds considering you were fighting the steering issue the whole time. I hope the new bits show up and you get another chance at it before the end of the month. Land, sea, air..... the lines all get a bit blurred here at Green hawks Addam!! 🤣 😂 Yes, that mustang ended up nearly as dirty as Taylors potty mouth, honestly, I can't take him anywhere! That's one poorly TT02, the whole geometry of the front wheels is totally off, and with no adjustable turn buckles I cannot get both wheels tracking true in unison. I've built/restored so many cars over the years, but just can't seem to work out what's going on here?! I can only guess something has slightly warped! Ideally the whole car needs a rebuild, but no time for that! I don't even think the larger pinion gear, foam tires and ESC pit card will get here in time! But hey, I've beaten Taylors best time at last..... and am determined to break the 50mph barrier in the final run regardless! I've also suggested to Fil that he opens a 'best crash' category..... now that's one that's right up our street! 🤣 😂 Thanks for watching this total shambles of a run, a total disaster.... But thought we should put it out anyway, Green hawks keeping it real! 🤣 😂 👍 👍 👍
@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC I enjoyed the video and we can all relate to struggles!! I am not sure who would win best crash.. there have been some rough ones. Just saw Brice stuffed his into the tire of a parked car at 86mph! He really had to yank on it to get it back!! It has been a great series of highs and lows from a lot of channels. I haven't seen them all... too many to watch!!

Taylor the sensible man calling it. With the stability where it is that road was worse than my initial OAG curves! Live to fight another day chaps. Suggested Taylor goes first next time rather than Yoda Darkditch!

He was just annoyed that I had beaten his best time, and that I have better legs than him!! 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 As for that bloody car, it just won't die..... Its like the terminator! I've built so many kits, restored so many vintage cars to a high standard.... but can't for the life of me determine why the geometry of those front wheels is so out of sync? I can only guess that something has marginally twisted, but without a full rebuild we just can't get both wheels tracked in unison. @@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC The TT02 seems pretty hardy at lower speeds. I have a huge amount of respect for it (for what it is). This must be the reason Tamiya refuse to let it go as it must be cheap to produce and easy to repair. Good luck on the final run!
@@theoagrc Fair and valid point mate, it's certainly cheap, and extremely structurally strong, as are the gearboxes. I also love all the nice detailed bodies for it to..... But I hate the way it drives, ghastly thing! Way too much torque steer, and the whole steering set up is an awful design. It's the sort of car that you ideally need to spend 3 times the initial kit price on in upgrades to get it running well! (which makes it ideal for this challenge) I certainly prefer kyoshos spin on things with the Fazer mk2 chassis, it to shares some of the same basic issues.... but overall its a far better chassis, albeit more expensive! I can guarantee that I will never be buying a TT02 for the collection matey! 😂 🤣 👍 👍 👍

Ideally it needs a full rebuild as the entire geometry of the front end is wonky! 🤣 But, no time I'm afraid.... don't even know if the ESC pit card, larger pinion gear and foam tires will arrive in time to be honest. You have a valid point mate, these stock kit tires certainly weren't my first choice! We destroyed our nice grippy soft tires on the last run so had to put these on temporarily until the foam tires arrive in the post (don't think they are going to arrive in time now!) But, there is definitely an issue with the front wheel alignment, one points in a totally different direction to the other, and with no adjustable turn buckles on the car this is not a quick fix! Think we need a nice large, wide carpark for the final run! 🤣 Thanks for watching Sir. 🙏 👍 👍 👍

I'm the FASTEST Green Hawker! 🖕 😂 🤣 🥇 🏆 Still one more run to go though, we are determined to break the 50mph barrier with this awful car that handles like a wet dog turd!! 💩 Will we ever sort the tracking?
