P. S. Poppy's backstory is insane. Started off as a RU-vid. Stole the identity / career of anther RU-vid (Mars Agro) and deleted her back stories to become a actress for Titanic Sinclair. She claims to be a bean from the internet. First videos that she did(remakes of Mars Argo) where "poppy eats cotton candy" and "poppy eats a meal". Eats lyrics.... Who can I be instead and full circle on the story.

@@russellcampbell3463 i personally do not believe it was poppy who stole from mars argo. i think it was titanic. he controlled poppy a lot (as a manager does) but he did not let her have any say in what she did. even in old interviews, poppy would be wearing headphones and in one clip she leans in close enough that you can HEAR WHAT TITANIC IS MAKING HER SAY. and when he is present in her interviews, he was the one doing all the talking. after poppy separated from him, her genre became more nu-metal ish than pop, freeing herself from what titanic's vision from her was. people sometimes think this was for shock factor, but it's probably because poppy's doing what she always wanted to do without titanic's influence. i think it was titanic who was using her appearance to have his ideas for mars (he worked with mars) on poppy after mars left him (he's not exactly a petite blonde girl, he wouldn't play the part well) he definitely used poppy after his relationship with mars ended to have a mars argo type of character.

@@dollyrot agree, but I don't think Poppy was uninvolved in the whole thing. She was playing a part. Titinic was the director and Poppy was an actress he worked with. That's a partnership. Titinic was/is a very good manager from that side. Got interview/views/publisty. Don't think many people get to that level by accident and think that she worked for what she wanted. In the "am I a girl" album there are a few heavy styled songs "x" and "play destroy" come to mind and even a darker theme on early singles like "low life" (video has a lot of satinic reference). Poppy image has always kinda targeted a more alternative crowd with the RU-vid having dark themes. Titinic opens his Grammy recaps "so we lost" and when the "blood money" was released he claimed to direct it, not to sure he is out of the naritive.

I appreciate that she’s 100% in control of her creative direction now although I did prefer her bubblegum pop stuff. This song has a lot of meaning to her too supposedly being about her battle with an eating disorder.
