I feel the same way. Been on a Keto Diet with Fasting for 2 years and lost 50 pounds so easy. Went from 5 bottles of insulin a month down to 2 bottles or less. It is people like Papa G with his great recipes that have allowed me to really embrace and love my very low carb lifestyle. Many thanks to him and other Low Carb Recipe Gurus.
I just made this today and it's excellent!! Restaurant quality for sure. I did make a few changes though, since it's just me and my husband I used just one tenderloin and halved all the ingredients and after I seasoned and tied up the tenderloin I browned the outside of the tenderloin in the same pot that had the bacon jam in it (add more bacon grease if needed). It took about 6 minutes to brown, about 2 minutes per side. Didn't cover pan with foil in the oven and it took about 10-12 minutes at 425 degrees to a internal temperature of 145 degrees, the onions didn't caramelize (knew it wouldn't, no big deal. You could always caramelize them separately.) I will definitely make this again. Perfect for something different to serve to company, they would be so impressed and it's so easy to make. Thank you Papa G!! This is the third recipe of yours I tried and they all have been excellent!! (I make your ranch dressing once a month and made your brownies this past weekend too. You gotta try those, they're like a mix of brownies and fudge!!)
Hi, Papa G, my husband made this pork tenderloin recipe for our 30th wedding anniversary yesterday (yes, Valentine's Day...) and it was wonderful! The proportions were just right, the instructions on how to cook it to the desired doneness were spot-on, the flavor was deliciously layered, and we enjoyed it immensely - thanks very much! Good morning Papa G, and happy Monday. I wanted to tell you that we had company over for dinner yesterday and we fed them all your recipes - the crab bisque for the soup, the pork tenderloin with bacon jam (again) as the entree, and the Irish cream custard for dessert. They were very impressed and enjoyed every bite! They are thinking of going keto and we recommended your channel to them.
