@@RogerBaileyOnCars Your RU-vids on Porsche are excellent and appreciated! The 911 Carrera GTS is clearly the best overall performer. With P Zero Corsa tires (the same rubber on the GT3), I dare say it might beat the GT3 on a track. The performance metrics are quite close between the two cars. I just took delivery of my 2019 911 Carrera GTS PDK and had it built with rear wheel steering and PDCC. The cornering speeds are quite significant (for a lack of other words) );->.

Your GTS will generate some serious g force, sounds perfect, thanks again for sharing your detailed information & kind comments 👍

dealers will buy a sell on a car for 2 to 3k profit if its a fast turnaround, say buy then sell a few days later then they get servicing and customer coming back etc

Absolutely! I came on to say exactly this. You can drive the .2 turbo daily but it will never match the sense of occasion of the naturally aspirated .1. There’s a reason the older NA now costs the same and in most cases more than the newer 991.2 GTS.

Thanks, wind buffeting is less in this 991.2 that was in the 991.1 I think Porsche made an adjustment with the deflector, I drove many fast miles with this roof open and found no problem, in fact its a joy.

Congrats on the 992 ! Chester Porsche do a great handover experience, The Targa is not noisy inside it's indistinguishable from the coupe, apart from the usual tyre noise, overall it's a relatively refined drive.

The awd gives a lot of confidence in all conditions, I’m not into opposite lock driving either, the roof used a lot & no probs, the GTS will retain its value better than a C4S while the C4S is very slightly more refined, GTS feels slightly sharper than a C4S & makes a great daily driver GTS is my choice 👍 - best wishes - Roger

However NOBODY ever seems to review things which matter to me. Namely. 1) What the car is like in the REAL World?... on the great British roads with potholes, traffic jams, rain and rubbish weather. 2) Nobody ever seems to review music, car entertainment systems.... if I am going to spend £100k plus I would expect a decent music system.... Ferrari audio and Lamborghini is awful.... Audi R8 and McLaren not half bad. 3) HEADLIGHTS..... !!!! Night time driving.? Porsche superb.... Ferrari poor at best . Lamborghini pretty good. 4) Service / Running costs. Fair to say the Porsche wins hands down on reliability and service costs 5) Here,s a strange one. How easy it is for some undesirable to nick the damn thing ? 6) Deal breaker... if we cant get our collie dog in to share the fun then we aint playing. Thanks for information re Porsche Chester..... Could well pop in and pay them a visit. Solihull Porsche to "up themselves!"...... so Sod that for a game of soldiers.... Tewkesbury and Wolvo close to me..... Got in mind CRAYON finish GTS Targa. With pdk and BOSE, Sports suspension and rear steering.....Black interior and roll over / targa hoop. F, in love your Miami blue car but quite fancy something a bit more sort of understated. @@RogerBaileyOnCars The car's a real 1675kg on the scales with PCCBs. DIN equivalent. Not sure where you found a sub 1500kg figure from but it isn't even close.

You don't have to talk your fucking boring "only naturally aspirated engine sermon", because it S U C K S ! What about that: just buy a new N/A Porsche 911 Speedster for 300.000 Euros, then you won't have to complain about "the sound" with its GT3 engine in an open 911...?! Boring wannabe "purists" like you are still complaining about the 3 liter turbo engine and "its tamed sound", but in just a few years from now they will certainly appreciate fucking disgusting heavy and almost silent electric "sports cars" with almost 2 tons of weight with a big hurrah..., isn't it??! You are certainly just a boring hypocrite! There are some really good high class aftermarket exhaust systems for the 3 liter turbo engines, which would give the Targa models a fantastic sound, because there's always a solution for these stupid "sound" complaints! But certainly not for people like... you smart-ass..., isn't it?! The 911 Targa with turbo engine is just the better sports car, period! Porsche is constantly making better and better sports cars, even for its open roof 911 versions. Even Porsche itself don't mean these cars to be driven like track oriented versions like the GT3. Especially a 911 Targa/Cabriolet needs "torque", and the new 3 liter turbo engine gives you exactly that! Your "mimimimimi" about its "lack of sound" is so boring... Just stop it!

Andrew Singh thank you. It's a good time to buy a 991.2 as dealers are open to lower offers November December. The 992 will be priced even higher when it arrives and likely no discounts.
