no self-respecting German would ever drive a 914 with some piece of shit American engine in it. I was excited to possibly see the the real 914 /8 that I have only known to exist through rumor using a horizontally opposed 8-cylinder from the racing Department. this video is a huge disappointment and should be removed.

Everything is better about it to a flat 6 except an extra 200#'s and if that bothers him tell him to leave his girlfriend at home lol, we ride with the hot chicks who like FAST sports cars, he, he, he...

Well in the 70-'s a SBC chevy was the hottest thing going and most popular to car guys....and a 914 was a POS VW! lol!

Well, obviously it's not as good as the 914-8, maybe not even as good as the 914-6, but it definitely shouldn't get so much hate. It's more powerful and sounds better than the 4 cylinder engine, and perhaps it's even more reliable.
