Yes, could have turned in to an expensive situation if it had leaked oil on the track. Luckily it was just a part missing from the camhouse.

Not a good feeling when you see oil dripping out underneath the engine and you have no other way home. Luckily we sourced a camhouse and bought some tools. Car was repaired next day on a field 20m from where the video ends. Did another lap 24 hours later before returning home to Norway. Flat out of course on the Autobahn.

We usually strengthen the pick-up tube and monitor the wear ont the rods in the Cup car's. This one was a loose bolt in the camhouse. Waterpump and headgasket was replaced two days before this video was recorded.(in a hurry)
