Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Full Detailing after $30k Service

This Thursday, we bring you none other than a Porsche 964 Carrera 4 in Guards Red that came to us right after receiving the ultimate treatment: a $30,000 service to bringing it back to factory-fresh. We had the pleasure of Dry Ice Cleaning this gorgeous 911, both the undercarriage and the wheel wells, before we gave it a nice wash, full two-step paint correction, and interior detailing.
We really dove in to the smallest corners of this classic Porsche to make sure that everything about this car felt top notch. It will be making it's way on to Bring A Trailer soon enough, so if you're feeling like you NEED this 964 Carrera in your collection, you know where to look.

Great work. I am local and will be using you soon ( 964t getting rebuilt up the way from you in Newport) I have one question, why didn't you remove the tail lights and driving lights/turn signals? I know from my own detailing of my 964 that dirt accumulates and you cannot get a polisher a good surface in those areas without removal. You did the darn jams so I was wondering if customer requested not to.

A lot of that is because they don’t need to change the exterior style and they hold true to their roots as a company. They designed a beautiful car decades ago and the changes have always been subtle in the 911 range between model to model. You take a 911 from say 83 and put it next to a 911 from say 87 and so and so you’ll see how subtle these changes are.. Gives each one that timeless feel

Jakub you should really add this stunning 964 to your collection. You look so good behind the wheel!!!! That is the most beautiful shade of red ever! The 964 is the KING of 911's. Have you ever considered marketing your own line of car care products? With that brilliant business mind of yours I'm sure it would be an overwhelming success!!! Thanks Gord! The car that we’re showing on Sunday is really the car I need to add to my collection… 😉 We have considered a few products to release. It would be nice to find something different in the market so that it’s not so saturated, but we have some ideas!

Hi Jakub, great job as always. I was wondering what is the logic of chainging the process order? You guys used to do the dry ice first and then detailing. Now it's the other way around. Dry ice cleaning blowst the dirt all around, in the engine bay, on the fresh polished car, then you need to wash the car again. Isn't the old process better? Do you have too much work these days and the lifts are occupied so you do it other way around? I would like to larn and understand. Greatings from Stuttgart/ Germany where I run the small shop doing the Dry Ice Cleaning and detailing (Otto Autopflege).

Hey Josip! I’m glad that you asked this! We actually are only showing dry ice at a different part of the video! We are always still using dry ice as our first process when we work on any car. It was a video edit choice to change it to the end so that not every video started with a plain ol undercarriage cleaning and lead the videos with more of the aesthetically pleasing work to make it more fun for people to watch

Wow, what a beauty! And great job as always! The most characteristic shape of 911 in my opinion. I wish the owner had replaced the black plastic door handles with red glossy ones! And as I've mentioned many times before, I cannot really stand the black "caps" that USA cars have in front and rear bumpers under their lights (although this 911 had these only in the front).

Seems like dry ice cleaning is increasing in popularity. It’s hard for me to understand the point of it though. How do you guys show the value in it to a customer? I’m not saying it isn’t worth it, but I’m curious how you guys promote the service. Great work as always!!!
