Porsche Cayman GT4 981 Road Review/Values 

Its the sweet spot for performance. For street driving I want something fast enough to push me back into the carbon buckets, but slow enough that I can row through some gears before hitting felony speeds!

981 with a basic set of headers and a tune is the best of all worlds, takes it into legendary status. The same cannot be said for the 718. Although the differences are small in reality

Had this choice before I settled on my 981 GT4. IMO all things considered a few years ago the 718 GT4 wasn't worth the $20,000 premium. IMO the 981 GT4 is more special. Raw sport car feel, tighter clutch, limited production run. Never looked back on my decision. Just finished a owners car experience where I drove my car on the Atlanta Porsche experience center west track and followed up that session with a 718 GT4. Both are phenomenal cars. Oh, Carbon Buckets are a must to complete the GT experience.

Yes - going to bring the 430 Scuderia back out for a run soon. Will do a Ferrari one as monitoring closely 👍

Agree but disagree. The 4 litre cars are faster and arguably look better from the front but the noise of the 3.8 vs the 4 litre is a k.o. kriteria for me. The 4 litre just sounds kinda crap...no matter the exhaust. I mean its the stroked 3 litre turbo from the 911 carrera with its turbos robbed.

@@immanuelvinke2215disagree. The 718 gt4 has a far better induction noise so with a simple exhaust mod you get the best of both worlds ❤

981 will be worth more than the 718 over time. Too many 718s made in comparison

I agree. I got a 981. But everywhere I go I see an old man out of shape, way younger than me with a 911. You make the car, the car can only do so much. 🤙but can't change a fat guy. No matter how fat his wallet is. Pun intented. Like seeing a fat girl come out of a gtrs3...no thanks.
