Those TVs are easy to find, I bought one from my local thrift store for 8 dollars. It works but the tuning dial is a little messed up, but it still works.
i miss my am fm radio with a tv designed like a boombox. one year i hooked up my nes on it to see if it worked and we had a challenge to see who can beat super mario bros on a 5 inch b/w tv! 😂

If anyone is tech savvy, you can clip pin 5 of the TV chip and solder a wire in its place ON THE BOARD (not on the chip itself! You are tapping into the video in. Find a suitable ground and possibly a cap between video and ground and bam! Composite in!!
The picture looks good I would not molest that TV it's in perfect original condition. Just use an RF adapter. That's a mint find. Thanks for posting. 73
@@ronb6182I agree. That mod should only be for someone who really knows what they're doing and can fix it up to make it look good at the end (not all ripped up on the side or anything). I would do exactly as you suggested, and already have numerous times. I have two portable "lunch box" TVs and an Ext. Ant adapter like the one shown in the video, a mini portable RF transmitter, and many old devices that are a lot of fun to use. I've even used an antenna to actually TRANSMIT video directly to the TV itself :) hardly anyone thinks of using an antenna to transmit rather than receive, but it can be done. Gives the whole thing a slightly fuzzy, staticky, authentic analog TV look.
I had one. Cost £9.99 new in Woolworths. Even came with the mini jack converter. UK channels were 21-69 UHF. VCR was on 36. Had a twin scart VCR, CCTV on one, digibox on the other.

I used to have a red-shelled black-and-white 13” TV. Built-in rabbit ears. Picked up my local stations (all analog-it was the 1980’s) from my basement bedroom when I was a kid. I wish I still had that TV!
GOOD MORNING, I WANTED TO ASK ABOUT THE TV LINK NODULATOR. I HAVE A TV LIKE YOURS, BUT MINE IS A MISTRAL TV 502R MODEL. I WANTED TO ASK IF THE TV LINK MODULATOR COULD WORK WELL WITH MY TV. GREETINGS, HAVE A NICE DAY.
It should work fine with that TV. Adding in your own private analog TV channel to your TV Antenna signal - UHF RF modulator ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f9vhcvSsoac.html
That is the Last and the worse Black and white Television.. ever made. I mean it works, and does what is should be doing. But the overall quality is bad, i have a similar Model.
I have one also but labeled under a different brand. It was new in the mid 00s, still have it today but the sound no longer works. The cheap speaker started going years ago even before analog TV did. Unfortunately the headphone jack is also affected.
The picture in the video looks good. There are no analog signals in the USA so what's the point of quality? You have a direct connection that's why the picture is sharp. Good enough to watch a VHS video. Black and white pictures are easier on the eyes for diabetes that are losing their sight. I should have bought Mom an 18 inch black and white TV instead of that RCA color set which I over paid for. The set had issues the day I bought it. I had to repair it after the dealer didn't know how to solder. I bought the parts at radio shack. 73
You can make some cool projects out of them if you know what you’re doing. They’re not the greatest quality things in the world but they get the job done if you need a tiny crt
@@NorthcoasterHobbyalso here in the Philippines, we use NTSC-M. They have that TV sold in the Philippines with 220V AC output. That one from Saudi Arabia (PAL-BG) works in Europe, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei.. Had that PAL-BG version (only 12V DC) used in NTSC country, no sound comming out, but scroll with V-Hold knob for PAL CRTs, and NTSC video is letterbox widescreen. Using NTSC black and white TV on AV input using PAL output device, it still flicker flashing and stretched video using V-Hold.
When I saw the thumbnail, it had Paw Patrol on TV Ontario as one of the listings, so I had to do a little speech for you. So, you happen to be from Canada, nice. I'm from New Jersey, and I happen to be a big Canadian cartoon fan. The cartoons from y'all are a lot more interesting than most US or European offerings, especially in this day of age where Canadian cartoons are dispised and barely given TV time at all on our sets. Like, Super Noobs from 2015 had a new episode at 6:30 am eastern in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania market, while King of the Hill (under CN's Adult Swim banner) would air just 1 hour before it (5:30 am Central) in Detroit, Michigan. Like, what's up with us hating on our neighbors who 1: has a lot of passion for their work and 2: making good stuff with a shoestring budget. (Wayside, Johnny Test, and DN Ace are my big 3 Canadian cartoons, the latter of which JUST made its US debut during the Daytona 500 this year with the Tubi app from the Fox network)
That’s great to hear that some Canadian cartoons are getting airtime down in the US. It’s true that there are many talented animators and artists here; and you’re right about the shoestring budget. People would be surprised how many animated shows are actually Canadian in origin. Thanks for stopping by my channel, and I appreciate the comments. 👍
