I watched the video 3 times, read the comments, and I am glad that intro wasn't a bad flashback. Ending, too. That being said, I assume you had the Micro Dark running from the speaker output. Have you tried the cabsim headphone output? Would that work? Serious question.

@@plasticoflamingo2952 thing is running it from the speaker out would probably KILL BOTH amps so he's probably using the headphones out or a effects loop if applicable, and with all that being said I thought it sounded beast best with the 15 wat orange running into the pedal baby.

Easily the best sounding demo of this product on RU-vid. Andertons had no low end and Fluff didn't demonstrate versatility. I absolutely love how the micro dark sounded with this

Literally thinking the same thing. The Micro Dark is my main rig, might be worthwhile to get the Pedal Baby as a solution for larger gigs that require more power.

@@khronscave okay tbh. I don't think that he is egregious in terms of really bad or I don't know the meaning of it. In my opinion his ad fits the style of Orange amplifications amps, but in source critical (don't know if it is the right translation. The scientific way of looking at sources) way you can't really trust this kind of ads.

This is exactally what i needed to use with my vtwin, pluging in the fx return is fine but i would trust my own power amp a lot more. Would be awesome if there would be some kind of that in stereo.

I actually decided on buying a Fender Twin Reverb (almost 20 years ago at the time of writing this) since the amp was so responsive to whatever pedals I put in the signal path. I wanted to be able to have an amp that I could use for any band I might find myself playing in and the Twin was the best solution as I only needed proper pedals to achieve the desired results. It’s nice to see an amp where this is its exact purpose. I still haven’t ever had to use or buy any other amp and this Orange amp so far looks great. I do wonder if it has a cab emulation XLR output to go direct into the house PA or if it still has to have it’s cab mic’d up. As I make my living as a sound engineer for live events, it actually is surprising how often Bass amps have XLR DI outputs while guitar amps don’t. The few guitar amps with DI’s built in have been great, especially on smaller stages since I don’t have to worry about the drums or anything else bleeding into the signal.

Putting a decent tube preamp (Maybe a joyo bantamp kinda thing?) in front of two of these could allow for affordable and quality stereo gigging rigs, which would be pretty awesome. (Also, really digging that V! It's looking and sounding great!)

I used this with iridium and ppc212v Somehow it's able to deliver all 3 sound of iridium (ofc i bypass the ir) apparently theverb is still usable even if yo bypass the cab tho

Orange is $$$ , but for the features offered, it could be perfect. Orange consistently goes their own way in product design (AB vs D, as you explained). Also FYI, for me, it's not fly-in, but rather girl-friend's-car-in. Well done on the cold open commercial (mucho laughs in my vicinity). I like how the camera focuses on your hands and the instrument during much of the demo. Since your face's not visible, could you post a typical facial expression head shot for us to imagine while you are playing? Cheers!

Hi Colin, thanks for your time making this video, its very important for the interested in this set. Im from Brasil, and im trying to find the rigth equipment to use with my modeler (MOOERGE300Lite). The main point is the possibility of use the IR together the signal. So, im assembly a cab (fisycal cab) with a FRFR speaker, a brand producing in my country. Do you think that will be a sucesfull combination or not ? I ask to you because i really think that is it important, all the videos here are using the Pedal Baby with modelers, but always with the cab simulator or the IR mode off. This simple thing reduce a lot the possibilities of tones in this kind of equipment. For example, I would like so much to abble to make a choice if i will use a JCM800 with a 4x12 V30 or a 2x12 creamback, that will result in a big difference. So, i will appreciate so much if you can take your time to answer this question. Thanks a lot.

I'm downsizing so I can get my amp, effects and two guitars on the bus from Musselburgh to play at Stramash and have a few beers instead of driving :) managed it too, hx stomp and a wah into the effects return of my bluguitar amp1 and the safecase 2x 95 from thomann, the guitar case even has wheels.

apart from the output filter possibly not being tuned for 16R I don't see why class-D would have any more or less problems driving higher impedance that A/B

This is perfect for me. I have mentioned before how our lead guitarist word-for-word copied Dave Mustaine. That means, if we ever play somewhere, he needs to haul around a huge amp, a huge multi-effect switchboard, and the bulky rack unit that controls it. On the other side of the equation, the Pedalbaby fits nicely under a Pedaltrain board, so I can haul it in the same case. This means if we ever play somewhere, I would only have one case to haul around, as opposed to the other guy's three cases. I like the idea of focusing on convenience for touring. So, I only have one question. Are these available now, or are they still pre-order?

I think it depends on where you are buying from, I've seen some shops saying 'available immediately' while others are still awaiting stock and have it on pre-order. If you shop about you should be able to grab one now. If not, very soon.

Aweome video. Love my pedal baby. I use a joyo preamp house with it. Do you happen to know how much the input of the PB can handle ? Im just curious how loud a signal can input safely into the pedal baby heh😅
