In this video our guest host Marta (one of our fabulous team members) walks you through her adventures in setting up her very first projector - a portable Ultra Short Throw model that can sit on a table/desk top or on the floor. These models are more expensive than the ceiling mounted projectors, but offer much greater flexibility and still pay for themselves in saved printing costs within a few years, if you are sewing regularly with PDF patterns.

Hi I was wondering I am currently learning the Haslam System and was wondering if this could be used with a projector? TIA

It looks like it's a paper drafting system, so unless you are capable of adapting it and doing the drafting in digital software, I'm afraid it would not work with projector.

Any ultra short throw projector as shown in this video will work. If you prefer a ceiling mounted projector, not all of those will work - it depends on the throw. Check out the Projectors for Sewing group on Facebook for a lot more information to help you pick the right ceiling mounted projector.
