@@erikpng Fixed because, the only time we get to see GLaDOS resembling Portal 1 GLaDOS is "Wakeup GLaDOS" when she is literally broken, and her model is brokwn into pieces. That's my guess on the use of the word "Fixed"
As a person who played the rtx version. I can comfirm the purple core (morality) looks like ego core from meet the cores lol. Also i love the way the portal 1 cores look like portal 2 cores! Amazing. I wonder if theres a portal 2 with rtx on steam.... my pc would boil lol. Its a risk im willing to take

lighting's messed up with how theirs technically no sun up there, hence why it has an "overcast" type of lighting instead, you can see the hoop that falls down has a shadow that gradually gets more pronounced the closer to the ground it is so that would suggest the "sun" is pointing STRAIGHT down, if you're wondering why not just have the sun at a more pronounced angle its because then the trees in the foreground would look even worse than they already do, remember this is a mod by like a handful of dudes at nvidia, no fuckin clue why the fire is gone though
i played portal rtx and its a whole different game wayyy higher textures and good performance with recommend specs, if you're gonna play be careful my gpu got around 75 Celceus while playing
@@fluffy_knight it wasn’t meant as a remaster dude. Just as a showcase of nvidia’s new technology. Real time ray-tracing for any game you can use reshade with.

That’s what she’s supposed to be… In fact, she’s too lifelike in portal 2, it sorta ruins the unnerving, lifeless vibe the portal series was meant to have.
i downloaded the game when it came out and i thought it looked awesome too bad my pc sucked and i just got a new one for xmas and now the game just dosen't look all that great to me
Y‘know what bothers me GREATLY? THIS BEING A REMASTER AND THE GLaDOS MODEL BEING INCONSISTENT! They had ALL the right to unify the design but NO! This gives me OCD an Anurism!
What? Portal 2 GLaDOS is supposed to be her redesigning of herself. Wakeup GLaDOS is a heavily disfigured and broken version of what her design IS in Portal 1. Portal RTX pretty much fixed all of the inconsistencies between her in Portal 1 and Portal 2. So just so you know, Portal 1 is how the scientists made her, and Portal 2 is her redesigning of herself.
I personally don't like the idea of a remake of a beloved game just to throw advertisements in as "easter eggs". And you're terrible at aiming the rockets.
@@Doodle128 you can ignore them. They aren't ads, they are fun little things to customize and show off different cube models not to promote any of Nvidia's guys.
