You two are adorable! Between the bike your rig and the lobster ( I think I'm part dolphin love the lobster!) that is my idea of perfect! Congrats! Love the Daisy too lol
Enjoyed your Maine videos, being a Mainah, fishing those waters around Bailey Island, brought back some great memories, but too bad you spent so much time in Portland. There is so much more to Maine and so much better. If you ever come across the Piscataqua again look us up, we'll show you the real Maine
I am truly hooked on your videos, guys !!! So ENJOYING your visit to the New England states :) :) :) .. It really IS a "special place in the U.S. !! Anxious awaiting the NEXT video ..... Rick S. (Massachusetts)
Its so funny when you pause talking on your back deck while traffic is in route behind you, your reactions are hilarious...seen it on several of you videos...lol:)
Love it! We took a bike trip from Cleveland a few years back and stopped at a few places that you visited and mentioned! We also took a bike trip to “Bah Habah”! Looking forward to that episode!
I'm with you, Chad, about spending time with your daughters.....I have three, and have missed much of their childhood b/c of my ex. It's always such a wonderful time when I get to be with them, even if only for a few hours!
The pix of my trailer was taken at Hampton Beach State park in New Hampshire. like April or May those months are easy to get sites on the ocean river. The beach is on the other side of the dunes. Book a year in advance for summer. They also have dry camping over night. It’s like 30 a night I think 🤔. You can dry camp without a reservation. It’s so nice to sleep with ocean sounds. It’s the exit right before you hit Maine.
Ohhhhh Scotch Eggs are amazing!! And you had mead, too! You'll find both at almost every Renaissance Faire. (Yes, I'm a Ren-nerd..lol I'm cool. I promise!). Maine is on the top of our visit list. I'm a huge foodie and I can't wait. It's so pretty there, too! I promise I'm not stalking lol. Just making my way through your video list. 😁 Omg, I need that Bonfire Hoodie... 😳
Funny..I actually liked this. I was born and raised in Maine. Born in Waterville, lived in Bingham and Fayette/Mount Vernon. Have family and friends there. Now I visit as a "tourist"...
It’s amazing how the old port area has changed since I live there in the 1960s and 1970s. During that time it was truly a working waterfront with mostly warehouses and heavy industrial. And that train down the center of commercial street was actually several tracks and it was terrible to drive over and you had to dodge trains in the middle of the road. It was really an area that you rushed through to get up to the main commercial area which is Congress Street.
Another home run you two! I know you have no say about the increadably terrible adds that youtube inserts inti your videos, but they are agrivating! I don't mind the adds that you can skip after 4 or 5 seconds, but having to watch adds that are not even related to your videos must be madening for you!
Great video and so much information about Portland Maine. You guys really do a great job of filming and editing. Really love that Indian and hopefully they stay in business. You two are awesome people and thank you for all the videos!!
You were so close to the maritime sin Canada. The best bike road in Canada is in Cape Breton , Nova Scotia, it’s called The Cabot Trail, you’ll have to try and do a maritime tour sometime, Wayne from Windsor Ontario Canada
I had scheduled a trip to VA in Sept but I am going to Maine instead!!! thanks for the great tips and intro to foodie tours. keep up the great service to us RVers..
I think I gained 10 pounds just watching this. Wish I could juggle like that! 6:06 - that Amber Whiskey (orange) and Black Limited that was parked next to you is what I ride. We did the whale watching thing in Bar Harbor - very cool. Actually very COLD by the time we got way out there! Stay off of the duck boats!!
New to your channel as I am ready to retire and get on the road. Love how you present your visits. Binge worthy! Just purchased a 2022 f450 to pull a toy hauler. I am learning so much and getting excited watching your videos! I was especially surprised to see the Peaks Island video as that is where I grew up. I lived in the house right across the street from where you had lunch! Keep up the great content!!
Thanks so much and welcome to our channel! You are starting with some oldies! (But goodies 😜) How cool that you grew up on Peak’s Island! We need to get back to that area!
Tara and Chad...I cant tell you how much my wife and I have enjoyed watching your channel. We are, hopefully, just a few months away from beginning our adventures. Your videos have been an incredible source of both knowledge and help in fighting the anxiety that we have for making this tremendous move in our lives. Keep up the awesome work!
Awesome tour. You definitely had the right contacts. Can't wait to see how you guys made out in Bar Harbor. We were there weeks apart and did the whale tour. 30 some miles off the coast and got to see a humpback.
Very cool!! We tried 3 days in a row to do a whale tour (had one booked), but it was fog soup for EVERY day we could go. Next time for sure! Crap! I'm giving away future video secrets! 😎
@@ChangingLanes - For the whale watching tour, When they say dress warm take them seriously. In August we froze when the boat was underway. But then again we sat on the top deck. I couldn't believe how fast we were going. I GPSed the round trip and we cruised at 32 m.p.h. Pretty impressive for a boat that size.
Definitely! BTW, I got my private pilot (SEL) rating at the Navy Flying Club on NAS Norfolk while I was in the Navy. Haven't flown since 1986, but it sure was fun! Thanks for following our journey! 😊
What a cool video!! You guys absolutely have the coolest channel on YT. You have to drink every time I say cool. I have watched every one of your videos. So cool. Drink up!
I'd love to see your Bar Harbor experience! I'm originally from that area, and haven't been back for a few years. I'd love to see how it looks from your bike!
A really good video. You showed us so much. What a nice couple, Randy and Bri are. I also would like to taste all that food. Good job on the Juggling. Get Daisy a hard hat. Take care and be safe.
Love the video! We've been watching your videos and wanted to thank you for all the practical info you've shared. We are a family of 5 (3 preteens)and buying a used fifth wheel very soon. After a couple of weekends to get familiar with it, we will be on our way to Alaska for the summer. Kisses to Daisy. Thanks again from Montana :)
Wish our RV was a toy hauler......we live in new england so only a 6 hour ride on the bike so never take the RV.......maybe next year leave the bike home. Love new hampshire and maine....no helmet law and constitutional carry. Great people/ food. Love the videos...🎄🎄🎄 merry Christmas
I just love watching you two this looked like a lot of fun! I really love how down to earth you guys are can’t wait to see your next adventure! Take care and stay safe❤️
This June the wife and I are making a quick stop in Scarborough to buy some “Holy Donuts” on our way to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Thanks for giving us a sampling of Portland. Enjoying your journeys.
June is a GOOD month for ACADIA ... because by July & August, it is VERY CROWDED... impossible to move around on clear days .... I usually make the trip up in mid Sept ... Much less crowded then .. :) :) ENJOY !!
@@ricks.1318 we will be there for 10 days ending on July 7 so I am sure July 4th will be more crowded. That is why we wanted to go the week earlier to enjoy the sites before July 4th.
If you juggled that well after three beers and a little bit of practice imagine what you could do after four beers 😊 Part 2 was just as interesting, if not more interesting thanks to Randy, as Part 1. Thanks for sharing your foodie tour of Portland. It was quite interesting.
Great episode, bringing back a lot of fond memories. I did a lot of Portland layovers with United when I flew the 727 and often ate at DiMillos. Glad to see it featured in the Foodie Tour. Of course, it's about three times more expensive now than it used to be.
Maine looks so beautiful and the foodie tour looked incredible!! How fun! We look forward to our travels taking us here one day. Good job with the juggling! :)
Thank you! We use a few cameras... Our primary camera is a Canon 80D with Rode VMP+, sometimes mounted on a Ronin-S (gimbal). We use the GoPro Hero7 for some vlog-mode shots and as a secondary angle when using the Canon. On the Bike, we use a GoPro Hero 5 with Karma Grip (Tara manually filming), Two GoPro Hero 5 Sessions mounted in various locations, as well as the Hero 7. For aerial shots, we use the DJI Mavic Pro (original). We also just added a DJI Osmo Pocket for quick out and about stabilized video. For more detail on these and accessories we use with them, we have all of our gear in our Amazon Store here if interested: changinglanesrv.com/amazon-camera-gear Thanks for watching and hope you check out the rest of our channel! 😊
