in 16th century Maria Guyomar (woman of mixed Japanese-Portuguese-Bengali) is known in Thailand for having introduced new dessert recipes in Siamese cuisine at the Ayutthaya court. Some of her dishes were influenced by Portuguese cuisine, especially egg yolk-based sweets such as foi thong ("golden threads") this sources from Wiki but this is can answer your question

@@TedsWorld782 My Portuguese mom did Massa de frango (chicken macaroni) all the time. Also look up rojões, it looks very similar to the pork dish you had. My mom also did rojões once in a while.

if your portuguese in a country far far far away and your served a dish similar to your culture you could care less if it is exactly the same dish..... I am super proud being Portuguese and I love and appreciate these wonderful people for embracing their ancestors and their portuguese culture...
